Hi great videos. But I don't understand one part - why were they trying to work out the date of the return of Jesus when it is clear as day that not even Jesus knows the hour - so to try would obviously be futile. I know there will be an answer to this so looking forward to reply. Thanks.

@@gideonmiezah6667 Thank you for that - but my question is: why where they waiting for - and trying to pinpoint an hour / day when it's clearly not knowable? I'm not criticising - I want to understand their thinking. I will say these Lineage videos are brilliant and v informative.

I know, ive always wondered about that, i know about their misunderstandings about the sanctuary but clearly the Lord does say that no man knows the day or hour, not even Christ himself.
Its based on the Jewish wedding tradition, where the bridegroom would go back to his fathers house to build a place for his new bride, and then he would return for his bride only when his father told him to go get her.
Which is beautiful, bc that is exactly what Christ said He was going to do.
But God bless their folly. Bc a great movement came out of it.
Heaven will reveal why EGW and sister was chased by another student who assaulted her with a rock. And continued to be angrily harassed by children. The Harmon Sisters, children are said to be Black people. Makes sense for the hate they received.
