I would like to make just a personal apreciation.. I don't think God gave Adam and Eve a prohibition.. I think it was a recommendation. Free will has always lived with humanity, and Adam and Eve had the freedom to choose God or not. The consequences of their election weren't a punishment, they were the natural consequences of living far from God.. Adam and Eve wanted to know goodness and evil, and they knew the second for sure 😣
Prohibition the act of forbidding something, especially by law. Genesis 2:16-17 He commanded them therefore it wasn’t a recommendation it was a prohibition.

This is an SDA video which may explain why Genesis 6:8 was passed over, "But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord." Grace explains why Noah was separated out from the rest of humankind.

Scripture does not say either Adam or Eve witnessed the murder of Abel by Cain. It doesn't even say they were close by when the event occurred. They found him dead, but did not see it happen.
Hhhmm....I see you skipped over Genesis 6. Interesting.
Some assumptions made here that scripture does not say. 'They witnessed the first death of an animal.' Genesis doesn't say anything about this. It just says God clothed them with skins.
'Their mourning turned to joy at the birth of their first son.' Again, we are not told this. It seems extremely unlikely to me that the sorrow of the fall would be mitigated by having a baby. Probably they realised that their children would never know Eden because of their sin. This is hardly a recipe for sorrow turning to joy.
Haven't you read in the Spirit of prophecy that God took the Garden of Eden to heaven so it wouldn't be destroyed by the world flood.

Your first paragraph is wrong. "Before time began, God created the heavens and the earth." Adam and Eve were created in eternity, to live eternally, before they sinned..
The fallen ones are what intermingled with human seed, which led to the flood

Wow. Promoting unscholarly understanding of the Bible. For more than a century, Biblical scholars have been pointing out the problem with taking Genesis literally. Quite apart from the obvious contradictions of such interpretation (how can you create for four days before you've created the sun? Did the human race begin with incest (Whom, exactly, did Cain marry?) & and would God approve?, anyone who has studied language, literature, and history will recognize instantly the language of Genesis is the language of myth, not fact. Taking a rib and creating woman? A talking serpent who apparently walked upright until cursed? It is very similar to lots of other creation myths. To interpret these things literally is to cloud the issue and lead to sloppy thing.
This flood story and two and of each animal?
After that length of time the bracken water (fresh and sea salt), would kill all the sea/fish life and all of the land green plants and trees would be dead.
It's a big problem that all of the grass, trees and any green plant would be dead for oxygen production alone.
There would be no fresh water for anything to drink after it all.
The flood story just skips over the drinking water problem. All the rivers and lakes would be gone under this messy mix of dead, drowned men, women, children and animals. That would be some polluted water.
Also there is no supporting fossil evidence for this story.
Then when Noah lets all these animals off the boat what happens? For example both zebras that wonder off the boat cannot eat as all the plant life would be dead.
The land would be the mushy and muddy unlike the children's story book pictures.
So these zebras would most likely die, stuck in the mud!
The first lion kill wipes out this breading pair and then the zebra is no more.
Then how do slow moving creatures make it to Australia while eating only the food that grows in that country. The koala as one example, swimming back home is a massive logistical problem.
Then eight people making such a boat with primitive tools. The massive amount of fresh water and food needed.
That much meat for all the carnivores alone. Extra animals or a Bronze Age freezer?
It's safe to think that this is just a story and it just never happened.
