  • The more I test it, the more interested I am in this lossless scaling app. It takes time to adjust settings for the best performance, with less ghosting and input lag. Today, I tested lossless scaling for competitive games and will let you witness the performance. Some games work well, and some games don’t. I also took notes in my video.
    When lossless scaling is active, it will double your FPS.
    Lossless scaling only works in Windowed or Borderless mode.
    Note: This software is not perfect; even though the game feels smooth, I also experience ghosting and input lag depending on the games.

    After 1 week with legion go and 3 hard resets. This handheld is amazing. I am going to use it as my main setup. With keyboard and mouse for games on steam without controller input. For some reason when i press the dpad left, the game changes thr icons from xbox controller to a keyboard input. That has been so annoying. I am gonna sell the rog ally most likely .i love it but i needed a bigger screen. The rog ally also has alot of annoying issues. Fluid frames is not working properly and would have been so good for starfield.

      I will try ROG Ally if the next generation comes with a small bezel; personally, I’m not a fan of big bezel screens.

    What games have you found work best with lowest input lag. because if like the lag is the only turn off

      Based on my test, I noticed that competitive games work better with lossless scaling than slow-paced games. If you plan to use lossless scaling with these four games: Valorant, Apex Legends, CS:GO, and Destiny 2, I highly recommend it because I didn’t notice any ghosting or input lag during testing at both 120 and 144 FPS.

      @@T-PEN Did you happen to test Fortnite at all? Would the Geforce performance overlay with average PC latency show the input lag lossless scaling is adding?

    • @mrGEE____1
      @mrGEE____1 Před měsícem

      Definitely don't get Lossless Scaling for competitive games. It's like playing goofy mode with the input lag, already got my refund. 🤙

    mine doesnt play smooth at all, i don t know if im doing something wrong. does it have to be plugin?

    • @T-PEN
      @T-PEN  Před měsícem

      You don’t have to plug in but just make sure that your game can run stable at 35 to 40FPS before capping it at 30FPS by lowering graphics setting.

    Why the on board fps counter only 72 maybe those are fake counter from lossless?

    • @T-PEN
      @T-PEN  Před měsícem

      It’s a frame generation or scaling FPS.

    Pourquoi chez moi l’application quand je l’active, baisse mes performances de moitié au lieu de les augmenter

    • @T-PEN
      @T-PEN  Před měsícem

      You need to cap FPS with MSI Afterburner - RivaTuner for the best results from Lossless Scaling.

    Great work, these videos with LS make me happy) 😅
    Make video with testing popular games with 1920x1080 and optimal graphics preset for stable 60 FPS (of course, using LS)...

    will you get banned if you use this on online games?

    • @T-PEN
      @T-PEN  Před měsícem +1

      Using lossless scaling in a competitive online game typically won’t get you banned, as it’s just a method of adjusting the game’s display resolution. However, it’s always a good idea to check the game’s terms of service or community guidelines to ensure you’re not inadvertently violating any rules.
