Fantastic video, Tomasz! Thanks for all the info! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you so much for watching 👍
Excellent video as always. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for watching 👍
Hi Tomasz, Excellent tutorial on what they are and how to do the cuts.
Thank you for watching 👍
Its always great watching your videos. They are informative and useful. But what i like best is you demonstrate methods and projects using the same tools the rest of us use. Thanks Tomasz 👍👍
Thank you mate, well I do try. However sometimes its good to invest in a tool that maybe is more expensive but you can justify that expense. Like now I have enough of my Titan jointer and need something better and bigger. For me it will be a good investment as all the timber I get is rough saw so I need to get through the milling process. And currently the biggest obstacle and time waste comes from that Titan. Problem is to get something better as a replacement we are talking some serious cash. But I know that investment will pay itself off eventually. So potentially if all goes well you will see a nice jointer machine in my workshop hopefully next year.
Concise, informative and very useful.
Glad you liked it
It's a REBATE not a RABBET 😁 ... another excellent video on how to do these basic operations 👍
P.S. I notice that you don't use the Rage 5S sliding table much, is that because it wobbles from side to side when you pull it back (like mine)? ... yet another design flaw!
I thought that too but then checked the spelling on Google and some videos on CZcams and that was the spelling. Maybe it's the American English spelling.
In most cases I find the sled too short if a movement. Mainly due to the mitre gauge that you need to install to operate the sled. It does wobble slightly but as you get in in the motion it seems to be accurate "enough"
Great video mate! Can you let me know what blade you are actually using? Thank you
Depends on the task really but in the last few months I'm using Trend blades. 24 teeth, 48 teeth and 72
Thank you @@CasualDIY . I need to consider getting 48 teeth as soon as I'll have some spare money for it haha. Thank you again for the advice.
@@rarecraftsman have a look at Saxton blades they are also very good and reasonably priced
This is exactly what using now. My only concern is that 80 teeth one jumps all over the place with longer cuts, but this could be also my evolution table saw being super old @@CasualDIY
@@rarecraftsman 80teeth for longer cuts? 80teeth blade is for crosscuts or finish cut. Not for ripping boards. You need a blade with less teeth. That could be the issue you are having. I made a video on different types of blades and what are they used for👍
What's the difference between a dado and a groove on MDF? 😂
Cheeky 😅
What you call a dado i call an housing
