- During my trip to Taipei last October, I flew EVA Air business class in their 777 from Taipei to Singapore. I had just flown on Starlux a few days prior to this flight, so it was a perfect way to compare the two!

I took my first flight last year on Eve 787-10 dream liner from Vietnam to Taipei business class me and another guy were the only two passengers that day in business class
So that's what was happening up front in Business while I was in Premium Eco... nice vid bro!

Hey, thanks for the review! IMO the reverse herringbone are not too good for us larger passengers (1.93m for me) as they cut out a lot of leg room which makes sleeping uncomfortable. I much prefer the newer Vantage XL seat from EVA or the ne air lounge from Finnair. They were great for sleeping. Again, thanks for the video and I admire your work and style!

How does EVA's business class compare to SQ and CX?
Haven’t flown CX business in a while so things might have changed, but I’d say EVA and SQ are pretty neck and neck - both have incredible food and service. CX lags behind in terms of both.
I’ve never flown EVA but based on this video and notwithstanding comparisons of older aircraft with newer equipment, or how well the welcome drink matches the colour of the cabin decor, I’d say that business class on both SQ and CX are quite similar to EVA. I’d really have no hesitation in choosing any one of them.
EVA Biz class is as good as SQ for medium haul. As for long haul, I have a slight preference for EVA due to its incredibly good Champagne selections (you would only see on First Class of other Airlines) and great Chinese foods. Not to mention EVA also serve the “Special” Coffee which is only available on Taipei - Singapore and Taipei - Japan flights, easily the best coffee anywhere, on the ground or in the air.
