- While making my way to South Africa, I made a stop in Amsterdam flying KLM's 777 in business class. It's always fun to fly KLM and collect those little Dutch houses at the end of the flight!

I'm at 6:38 in the video, so if you cover this later, I'm sorry. KLM planes all have interesting names. When I flew 787s ORD-AMS and back, I noticed they were named after flowers. The 777s are named after World Heritage sights, and this one is no exception. Pont du Guard is an ancient Roman aqueduct bridge built in the first century AD to carry water over 50 km to the Roman colony of Nemausus (thanks Wikipedia). It's still around today.

As another YVR girl here love this and thank you for your amazing video and we truly got a beautiful airport, Can't wait to travel to of the International side again ,its been mainly out of Domestic or Transborder. The window seat egress is a pain in the ass. They need to update the business class arrangement.
Nice video. I don't think KLM has seat 5K on their 777-200ERs. It looked like seat 4K based on what you sat in. Their row 5 only has 4 seats (A-B-D-G) from what I remember.

I got reassigned to this plane for an overnight and I am not happy to be stuck in a window seat next to a stranger. (My original booking had me in a 1-2-1 configuration and I was on my own.) Oh well. I guess I will have to make do. Your video makes me feel a little bit better about the flight.

Thanks!! For the clips here I used a Sony a7r4, a 16-35 f4 lens for the wide angles, 70-200 f2.8 for the zooms, and some clips from my iPhone 12 Pro Max

Nice video! 🎉Thank you!! 😀😀 But KLM is a desaster and the food looks terrible! Especially your main course looks like dog food! Sorry! To offer this crap is a no-go on an international Business Class product! And one thing I also experienced on all my last KLM flights is the empty door when you enter the aircraft. Can't remember when I have seen there someone to welcome the guests. So typical and just unprofessionell! The only thing at KLM World Business Class is the IFE! Great choice of movies and music!
The problem is most of their competition is just as bad or worse in business class. I'd still rather fly KLM than BA or Lufthansa.
2hrs before landing they served breakfast?? Gross! They should allow y’all to sleep longer and serve breakfast 1 hr before landing.
Buddy planes need to descend 45 minutes before landing.
