This flight was taken in January, before the Coronavirus became a major issues. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic I am not traveling, and I strongly discourage anyone from taking any non-essential flights. That being said, this channel is very important to me, so I stockpile extra footage from every trip to make sure I have enough footage to continue uploading even if I am unable to fly for any reason. So, you will continue to see daily content on my channel during this unprecedented time. I currently have enough footage to continue with daily uploads through September 2020 without stepping on another aircraft. Fly with me here on this channel, not on real flights! At least for now. Stay safe everyone!
thank you. We will need to fill the void during this period. Much appreciated.
Awesome video. That DFW- SLC Flight is beautiful. I took that flight on delta in 2005 on my way to Nebraska to see a friend. Flying over the Rockies and then on the way back the mountains in SLC were snowcapped. Thanks for posting all your full flight videos. Keep up the great work.
Love hearing the engine dry-crank before it starts up. It might lack the majestic roar of older engines, but I personally find the A220 to have some of the most unique and interesting engine sounds in a modern airliner.
Whats great about this aircraft is that Delta has kept all its examples in service during this crisis while parking bigger aircraft
salt lake city looks really nice! mountains etc my kinda place!
Now, THAT is the kind of cruise phase that I can actually enjoy. A little bit of turbulence for some added fun...and some absolutely gorgeous scenery. :) The scenery on descent and approach wasn't too shabby, either. :) And as a Canadian, I'm cheering a bit more for the A220 than for the other "true" Airbus models. Hopefully, this bird will have a long and successful career in the skies.
I hope so too my friend. The A220 is a really great aircraft. I have love the fights I've taken on them. Thanks for watching man!
That view coming out of the clouds from DFW is incredible!!
There were a lot of great views on this flight, but that was one of the best. Thanks for watching my friend!
the A220 is designed and built by Bombardier in Canada. Bombardier was purchased by Airbus. A purely Canadian aircraft. Beautiful, efficient, safe.
And it is a very good aircraft. It's too bad Bombardier sold the program to Airbus. Thanks for watching my friend!
I love the view of the wing and I especially love how you can almost see the curvature of Earth’s surface!👍
Holy crap! I can see state street in Orem, Utah. University parkway intersect with state street. Plus beautiful Mount Timpangos wing view
Not all heroes wear capes...... some simply post an amazing aviation video with no fast forwarding! Damn what an amazing plane too!
Thanks for watching man! I really appreciate it!
A220 is sure a beautiful plane. Reminds of the 757!
that A - 220 is just a perfect plane in so many ways . . . .
It really is a great aircraft. I have enjoyed every flight I've had on the A220. Thanks for watching my friend!
Would love to hear more of the flight attendant announcements in pre-flight & landing in full. Helpful for Sim pilots for personal use.
Hi Skylite, This flight was picture perfect in every way. Great job.
As always, thanks my friend!
That was awesome! I would love to fly that route in winter, with all the snow on the mountains, that was so nice! I could see the Spanish Peaks, then the Sangre' de Cristo range, and Wet mountain valley, and could see the general area where my Colorado house is, just east of Silver Cliff. Man what an amazing view!
You need to have some luck too. You need a clear day, and it's not easy to predict that in advance. I flew DFW-SLC and then back to DFW on this same day. By the time I returned back to DFW cloud cover had socked the moutons in, and none of this was visible anymore. Thanks for watching my friend!
Thats an AWESOME engine view
Thanks man! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Very nice. I love the shadow of the airplane on the clouds! 21:08
Good catch m y friend! Thanks for watching!
Awesome video man! Liked it as usual!
Thanks man!
A great way to Fly into a New Year 2023 !!
i really like about how the clouds are very close to the ground, nice video as always
A day before my birthday you were on this cool video
cool flight thank you very much for the video provided
Really awesome!
Thanks for watching my friend!
Thanks for flying into SLC! Wish I could've taken some pics of your plane arriving
It was my pleasure my friend. I love flying into SLC. It had been a long time since I'd visited, and I know realize I need to come back again soon. Thanks for watching my friend!
great flight report, big like mate
Thanks for watching my friend!
Great video my friend as always. The A220 seems similar to the Embraer 175 that I have flown with American.
It is similar to the ERJ-175, but IMO, it's better. And this is coming from someone who loves the ERJ-175. Thanks for watching my friend!
I like the full flight!
Thanks for watching my friend!
Loved the video
Thanks for watching my friend!
Is it just me, or does the A220 look like a smaller A350!?
It does have a similar wing structure to the A350. So, I can see how, especially in a thumbnail, how it can look like an A350 wing. Thanks again for watching my friend!
Awesome video!
Thanks!
Wow 🤩 the airplane so much fun I liked
a220 is a cute little boy😂
Thanks for watching my friend!
That plane is super quiet great smoothness on the take off
The A220 really is a great little aircraft. Thanks for watching my friend!
I hope commercial air traffic roars back in 2022 to something near 2019 levels.
Nice flight. 2:05:55, I have flown on that particular Frontier Jet.
Nice my friend. Thanks for watching!
It's the taxiing for me
Great Video...like👍
Thanks for watching my friend!
220s are Sweet!
Agreed! Thanks for watching my friend!
So crisp, sharp, and beautiful! Almost looks like a FS! Thanks for uploading!
I’ve never been to Utah. Is it a good spot to vacation in the spring or summer?
Utah is a beautiful state. It's a great place to vacation if you like national parks. There are five big parks in Utah that all are very beautiful. Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Capitol Reef, and Canyonlands. Salt Lake City, of course has the great Salt Lake haha. Utah is a beautiful state.
This iPhone 11 Pro, incredible video quality.
It really is amazing how good the quality is on phone cameras now. Thanks for watching man.
Gosh the A220 is beautiful! I hope AA and American order it!
That would be sweet! I'd take an A220 on any airline. They're great aircraft.
Ground Control and the pilot certainly were not in any hurry to get you to the gate! I've only flown into SLC once on the way to Tucson but was awestruck at the gorgeous mountain scenery! You don't get views like this in Joplin! Judging from the sun angle from DFW,looks like you took off to the south, made a right turn, leveled off and again a turn towards the NW,with the sun behind you. Guessing you overnighted in Dallas for you to get to DFW well before your aircraft was towed to the gate--was your arrival time around 8am local time? What were you connecting to?
I did overnight in Dallas the night before. I flew in from TUL the afternoon before, got some spotting in that afternoon, and then took this flight the next morning. As for connecting, yes I was. I was connecting back to DFW haha. I flew DFW-SLC-DFW so I could take two A220's.
Word !
Thanks for watching my friend!
I think I could listen to the messages from the flight deck all day! The FO said all that in one breath at 17:12 !
Must've said that speech a lot before. Thanks for watching my friend!
Wow, tow crew. Way to leave that door handle open...
1:12:35 Great Sand Dunes NP!!
Hello! What holder did you use for Iphone?
That would be my right hand on this flight, since I was sitting on the right side haha. I do not use any type of mount. Thanks for watching my friend!
Just flew on Delta in a B717, roundtrip. Sat next to the rear engine. Didn't see a thing.
Well, that's a symptom of sitting next to the engine on those old T-tails haha. Thanks for watching my friend!
🙏🏻💚💚💚
It’s so quite!!
Thanks for watching my friend!
Did you fly over the artic at 1:24:54
It's been a while since I've been to SLC! Probably because I hate that airport. Salt Lake City is a very beautiful city though.
Salt Lake City is very beautiful. I'd forgotten how beautiful the area was. Thanks for watching my friend!
Unconventional Gaming don’t worry man. SLC airport is already underway with complete new airport. It won’t be the same airport next time you see. I don’t like older one but new one is coming this def takes the cake.
ziet er echt leuk uit in 4K.en wat is onze bestemming? zet eens koers naar Amsterdam Airpoort. greetz:Peer.
Thanks for watching my friend!
@@sla31 you are welkom,yes it was a graet flicht.greetz:Peer.
Is someone playing with the seat belt sign?
Hahaha. Thanks for watching my friend!
@@sla31 were you there for vacation or visit family?
Anything interesting there?
@@jv-zc2ks He went there because he's a Mormon, and a very straight-orthodox one I'll tell you, so be carefull of and on what you have to say on this ;-) !
The windows of the front of the airplane look weird😅
It's kind of cool once you get used to it. I like it. Thanks for watching my friend!
Is that aircraft pretty quiet
It is. Very quiet! Thanks for watching my friend!
😍😍😍😍😍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
Thanks for watching my friend!
I wish I could fly on this I only fly southwest I wish my mom would do other airlines I want to try all aircraft not just 737s
😊
Thanks for watching my friend!
A220 is suitable for a efficiency cost from the airlines
Agreed. Thanks for watching my friend!
I know yo arms were tired
Lot of seatbelt sound at the beginning
good flight
If Delta only knew how to make it fly without engines to save a buck it would.
anyone else spot another plane at 1:31:10
Good eye my friend!
Delta Air Lines uses Air Bus instead of Boeing? A U.S American company uses French airplanes instead of U.S American? isn't that bit weird? Also both companies must do something for the noise, and the radiations! Both cosmic and turbine rad. The turbine rad is a lot more dangerous.
Pretty much all US airlines, with the exception of Southwest, use both Boeing and Airbus aircraft. Most also use Embraer and Bombardier aircraft as well. The industry is too big, and it takes too long to get new aircraft delivered to rely solely on one manufacturer. Also, Delta and Boeing don't have a very good relationship. If you want to read some interesting stuff, google Delta Boeing and Bombardier, and see how a trade dispute really put Boeing and Delta at odds.
This is actually a Canadian plane from Bombardier, still produced there but sold to Airbus after a dispute with Boeing. So it's not a French plane contrary to popular belief. and most major American airline have both Airbus, Boeing and some Embraer and Bombardiers.
Flat Earth and Chemtrails!
Who knew this video would prove so much!
Awesome video!!
Thanks for watching my friend!
