It still fucks with 13 years of movies prior to this. That character you love and developed? It happened because 3 lizard people decided this is the canon, they didn't develop at all.
If Tony would have stayed home with his family and didn't invent time travel, he would have been melted.
If Thor killed Thanos in Infinity War he would have been melted.
If Vision missed Rhody with the laser, he would have been melted.
If Spider-man didn't give the glasses to Beck, he would have been melted.
If Hawkeye won against Black Widow, he would have been melted.
If Tony didn't create Ultron he would have been melted.
If Hitler only killed 5,999,999 jews, the 6 millionth one would have been melted.
If Uncle Ben was saved on the hospital bed, he would have been melted.
If Tony forgave Bucky at the Hydra base, he would have been melted.
If Hulk hadn't dabbed, he would have been melted.
EVERYTHING is meaningless now. The only way to fix this is for this show to be decanonised and not happen at all.

My theory is that Kang, or some other time lord needed a universe where his two biggest threats (Thanos and Tony Stark) were taken out. That’s why Strange only saw the one possibility of defeating Thanos as Tony sacrificing himself (something anyone could have done) because any other timeline, Thanos would have won, or the TVA would have interfered. Loki breaking his timeline is bad for the TVA because Tony can still live in that universe.

Tony only did it once it got to a point of desperation, which is perhaps the only time that kind of thought would occur, tbh, but I’m just saying that it’s odd that in 14 million + possibilities, Tony grabbing the stones after they’ve been stolen is the only way they win? Seems like something was trying to force that situation. Coulda been the writers, but I’m guessing it was TVA

We should make a distinction between "free will" and "free decision". If you find yourself in a situation where all your option to choose from are shit, you still have your free will to pick one, or do nothing (which is also a choice). When Loki yelled at the people of Stuttgart to kneel and submit to him, he did not take away their free will, he only limited their choices to "obey or get killed". The Chitauri sceptre with the Mind Stone, however, _that_ thing takes away free will by mind controlling people, or rather it twists their worldview so they work for the wielder's goals but they can still decide how to go about fulfilling the orders given.
But the TVA... they take away Free Will indirectly in a perversely sadistic way. "Oh," they tell you, "you _can_ make that decision, go down that path. But if you do, we will erase this You and start over with another You that might be more obedient, until you take the path we want you to take, Robert Frost be damned. And we won't tell you which path is the sacred correct one, have fun finding out!"

He's able to cause all the chaos he's causing, killing Agents and time keepers in various time periods because he is the very same Loki that Mobius decided to try and enlist, only it eventually goes wrong somehow.
Further on, in the TVA world's future, this Variant of Loki goes crazy or Rogue or something, and somehow starts influencing moments in the past even for the TVA, (with help from everything he originally learned from Mobius himself, which are the events we're watching,) and it's created some kind of temporal, "loop," that will eventually have to be broken by somebody coming back to warn Mobius to NOT recruit Loki to begin with.

In doing so it creates multiple universes where certain things occur which could lead to the multiverse of madness movie where doctor strange has to deal with the varying degrees of reality deformation. Also this could lead to bad guys like Kang the Conqueror because it seems like Kang wouldn’t be as powerful because of the Power of the TVA so it would be plausible to think that if the sacred timeline were destroyed, someone like Kang could become a powerful being and cause a lot of chaos do to their being no TVA in the equation. One reason I think Loki might end up destroying the timeline is because I don’t think they’d kill his character but by the rules of the sacred timeline he’d have to be killed either by thanos or by the TVA and destroying the timeline creates a loop hole where he can create his own destiny.

It’s seem the time keepers(TVA) are doing whatever they can to keep the multiverse from happening. No alternative timelines or anything. I’m guessing during the multiverse war the timekeepers found a way to become powerful/in charge. For them to keep said power they have to make sure the multiverse doesn’t happen. But this alternate Loki is trying to start a multiverse and destroy the time keepers

    • @UchihaOokami2596
      @UchihaOokami2596 Před 3 lety

I can guess that the alternate loki's plan is to gather enough of the charges to actually threaten the existence of the "sacred timeline" and force the Time Keepers to create the multiverse. Since they can destroy variant timelines, maybe you can set them to affect the normal one. Perhaps setting them at the center of celestial existence aka Vormir would hit the hardest, thus forcing their hand because either all of reality falls apart or a multiverse of madness is allowed to reign. Cant wait.

He starts stealing reset charges bcs this is a part of that plan (means to get to them, or maybe means to reset the "sacred timeline" itself?)
