Just swapped the 47k R4 resisotor on my 500, that did the trick. Was open circuit, amp is now singing along with both channels again. Am cranking out some Sirisumo for a healthy load test, sounds perfect, thanks for the post!
Your board is a different revision than the one I'm working on now. R4 is near the input cap on the one I have in the shop now. The right channel has no positive peaks. All resistors measure good. All transistors and MOSFETs test good on a curve tracer. Meanwhile the left channel overheats in less then a minute, drawing 900W at idle.

Nice job 👍👍 Vintage Hafler had a incredible sound . Nowadays they still kick!!
Thanks for the post. If anyone is repairing this older version use the PC-10 schematic not the PC-19.
Very good, clear and simple. Thanks for the video and for your time.
Now I saw how he did it, Thank you.
Your music is too loud!!! Can't understand you, speak up 👆

nice amp
Hi, you forgot to make a section of bias calibration, thanks anyway
I think this is an interesting video, but I had a hard time hearing you over the music
I will minimize the background sound effect on the upcoming videos.
If that sound from ending of video is from this amp it's really good !? Is it? What's Speaker model?
Yes. It was playing through my bench speakers - Paradigm Titan.
I am looking for someone to fix mine.
Where can I find that drumming track?
The Sheffield Drum Record by Jim Keltner and Ron Tutt (western drum music) and Ondekoza - Odaiko (eastern drum music).
I also had one, it died, could never find anyone to repair it..
If u find someone to fix yours… let me know.. I need mine repaired.
@@claylanier1444 This was 20 years ago now.. It went to the dump at some point when moving.. I wish I had kept it..
