I love how he compared the moon sighting to adultery/fornication.

The birth of the new moon is very different from sighting; sighting can only take place at maghrib while facing the west where the sun is setting, the birth of a new moon however can take place at any time of the night or day and in no specific place nor direction. The new moon birth cannot be seen except with special equipment or in the rare case of an eclipse and should not be used as an indicator of the new month...

I have a question sheikh, at 4:17. In this time and age, people dont fornicate or do adultery in front of 4 muslim men , in most cases people will do it behind walls, at home, hotel etc. so how do we accused the sinner??

Salam. Sheikh, with due respect, your explanation of determining and deciding the new moon is absolutely absurd, ridiculous and baseless. It is quite possible to begin fasting, celebrate Eid and all the other Islamic events and festivals on the same date and day within 24 hours, not at the same time. In Bangladesh, every day we perform and complete five Fard prayers within 3 hours
time difference with respect to Makkah Mukarramah on the same date. It doesn't change the date and day likewise Sawm, Eid and others. How many days does the Jumuah prayer take to be offered all over the world? Have you ever heard about the offering Jumuah prayer on Thursday or Saturday? I think this shortest comment ought to be enough to help you do more research and study in depth in this regard. Pleas consider and ponder over the Ayat of Surah Al Bakarah: 189, Surah Ar Rahman :05 in particular and many more Ayats and Authentic Ahadith on this matter. Last but not the least, the Prophet (pbuh) has said, "For sure Qiyamat shall take place on Friday." (Sahih Muslim). Shikran. Salam. Still love for Allah's sake.
