Are you all that naive? He's saying this to decrease the chances of him being criticized/canceled for his opinions. So need the viewers to gain his trust by showing the viewers that he's giving away money, gifts, etc. Also, his mannerisms is very feminine. This is another reason why there's a lot of females supporting him.

and instead of improving their product and customer service, they chose to attack him! no one learned the lesson. maybe the broke af cash registers will convince them.
Just left Atlanta again and still not impressed with the food. Fast food or chain restaurants were better than the mom and pops. I would have hoped it would changed.
He didn't leave Atlanta in shambles. The same Atlanta restaurants are doing just fine today with the same rules.
The Puddery is really great! They were in Los Angeles and had a food truck pre-pandemic. It was amazing!

He doesn't go inside because he has social anxiety not because he's too popular. He speaks about that in a few of his earliest reviews
He also said in order to review the customer service he can’t go in because people recognize him and give him special treatment. We seen him go into the store in this interview, so I’m sure he it isn’t just his social anxiety.

This is what we're subjected to huh..... sheesh influencers are getting recognition like they're icons. He is a self proclaimed food critic!
His entire appeal rests on the fact that he is a “normal” guy giving relatable and honest critiques of local food. He’s not like professional food critics, who are only visiting 3 Michelin star restaurants and posting on niche platforms.

I don't think he has social anxiety, necessarily, I think he is an undiagnosed high functioning autistic person. This explains his flat affect and spot-on reviews, as autistic people can't help but be unapologetically honest. They have social challenges, which may be misconstrued as anxiety but is really part of their neurodivergence. It might be for the best at this point that he not know, as I think knowing these things cause more anxiety.
You may be right. He did an interview on Here’s The Thing podcast about a year ago speaking about his childhood. He was uncontrollable, and seen as “bad”. No one could get through to him.
Has this reporter ever followed Keith? They don't ONLY post what they like. They post what Keith can be the nicest reviewing. Ronnie, his sister Irma and their moms go into the restaurants. HOW people don't recognize THEM after all this time is wild. I do!
