*Olive oil has been a beauty staple for centuries, and it’s no wonder why!*
With all the _benefits_ of providing your hair with hydration from _its natural oils_ as well as helping to combat dandruff while strengthening strands that are prone to breakage or dryness thanks to heat styling.
The ancient remedy is making waves in the modern day again because we've realized how much healthier our tresses can be when they're protected by something like olive oil.

I know how you feel, I started losing my hair in August 2020. I was so scared, my first thought was Lupus, my mom, my aunt, great aunt had it.... So I wanted to get blood work to see if that was the case..... Thank God no lupus😊. Also I had Bad dandruff. I went to the dermatologist, I started use the shampoo that she prescribed and I use Pantene gold series Conditioner. Now my hair has started to grow back. I was crying I didn't want to go anywhere....you name it I was feeling. It was a wake up call, I wasn't taking care of myself. Now self care.

  • @chanaduncan2046
    @chanaduncan2046 Před 5 lety +50

I absolutely agree with the JBCO. I have locs that are down to my butt and a year and a half ago I started experiencing thinning to my mid scalp area. I’m from Jamaica and I had always heard of the Castor oil. I purchased the naturally made while on my numerous trips back home and started using along with natural coconut oil that my husband actually makes from the natural coconut. Within 3 months my hair grew back thicker than ever. I had hair growth where I didn’t have before. Another thing, for all of you, especially ladies with locs, please stop washing your hair often and stop manipulating and twisting your hair. This adds to thinning and breaking. Also stop putting so many products in your hair. Stay with two to three Natural products. I myself have never twisted and manipulated, however with age (55), my hair was getting thin. I stopped washing every two weeks and started washing every three months, with intermittent dry wash in between. Amazing results. My hair grew about six inches in less than a year! All the best. Stay blessed!

Channa Duncan thanks for your advice. I'm having similar problems with my crown. I've noticed that although I used the castor oil my hair don't like it.
      Instead I triennial Virginia fertilizer.
It works. Also use any oils to be honest. Apparently any oil blesses my hair? Not sure why but I work with it.
I purchased leave in conditioner with my fast self my hair started looking unhappy so I discontinued it.
Blue magic the castor oil brand it loves. My hair looks beautifully shiny. People have noticed and ask what relaxer I use.
African Best regular relaxer works like magic I don't use any other products for about 3 weeks then I use the oils and blue magic.
If it works it's best to leave her alone.
I won't suggest using it again before 6 months it's not necessary.
Over processing is what stop hair growth and causes damage.
Brushing and combined is also a problem but I just wanted it to look good.
I try to be gentle with her.
Please help me in just don't know what else is required.

Here is a bombdiggity recipe for you. In a 16 oz mason jar, add the following.
2 tbls Moringa Leaf Powder, organic
1/2 c Avocado Oil (cold pressed or the regular stuff from the grocery store)
    2 tbls JBCO
1/4 c Pure Moringa Seed Oil
    30 drops Rosemary EO
4g MSM Powder (4 capsules if that is what you have on hand)
Infuse, double-boiler style on low heat, for at least 2 hours.
Once cool, gently transfer into an amber bottle (be sure to not let the Moringa Leaf powder pour through as it will leave a grainy feeling on the hair and scalp.)
    Use daily.
This recipe is for a small batch as I feel it is best to make what can be easily used in 30 days.

Great video! I will try this. My is very long over 22 inches long but it’s thinning very badly due to my thyroid issues. I had full volume hair but now my hair is thin and lifeless. Hopefully, these oils will bring it back to life. I’ll keep you posted. Thx so much for sharing dear.

With the castor oil do I have to use the Jamaican castor oil? because I bought just cold pressed castor oil and used it and I feel like it didn't work but made my hair at the front of my scalp really thin to the point where you can see my scalp sooo much 😭
My hair is really thin but I also have very fine hair that's mega fuzzy and short. Once my hair grows longer it gets really thin so I always have to keep it short.
I don't know what to do cause I'm so self conscious 😭 My hair used to bs soo thick when I was a kid but I fucked my haircut up once and since then it never grew back thicker..

I used 2tbsp coconut, olive and castor oil, with 3 cloves of garlic, 10 black peppercorns and a inch of ginger, heat in a pot till it starts foaming, remove from heat and let it infuse overnight. In the morning strain and use oil daily. It does not smell nice but my mom suffers from hyperthyroidism and this covered those bald spots in 15 days. I use it on my entire household and u wont regret this recipe
