- We’re walking all 214 Wainwright Fells in the Lake District and today we’re doing 5 fells by completing the Newlands Horseshoe, a challenging but rewarding circuit with truly stunning views!
If you’re liking our accommodation, we’re also staying in an amazing cottage with the most stunning views, this wonderful place was used as a location in the BBC drama, The A-Word, a perfect base to climb lots of fells and somewhere to rest after a long day’s walking!

The lake district is such a beautiful place ❤ its great to hike whe you can and with such gorgeous scenery its very relaxing 😌 the view from the top is lovely
Fantastic achievement. We spent many years getting round the Wainwrights, so good we actually did them twice 😀 - finishing the 2nd round in our 40’s. So your video was even more enjoyable to watch as it brought back some memories for us. We seem to be following you around as we are currently in the Lake District revisiting a few fell tops but not experiencing quite the weather you had. Much cooler this week but hey we are trying our best to get some filming done as you do. Great to see you both back in the Lake District and doing such a brilliant hike. I've done the 2nd half and agree with you about the views over Derwent Water, but still to do Robinson and Hindscarth - one day maybe. I said at the start and the end why didn't you just start from your accommodation but in those hot conditions it must have been really tough - well done, regards, Ashley
