  • @walkingwithbill explores the peak district village of Hathersage which along with the surrounding area became an inspiration for Charlotte Bronte when she wrote the classic Jayne Eyre. It is also famous for having the grave of "Little John" from the Robin Hood tales in the parish church.

    That was lovely! Jane Eyre is one of my favorite books and now I will have some new mental images the next time I read it.
