Most Dangerous Ways To School - Mexico: • Most Dangerous Ways To...
Facing the most extreme conditions - marching, climbing or swimming, these little kids fear neither brutal cold nor dangerous terrain. They face wild animals. They climb up mountainous paths, fight their way through icy wastelands or under the merciless sun of the desert. They persevere through all this with only one goal in sight: a better life. These children have the most spectacular and most dangerous ways to school in the world!

Each story is one of inspiration and joy and fear for the kids’ well-being and just awe for what these families do every single day to improve their lives, to make sure their kids have it better. It’s just wonderful. We hope many kids watch this too.

The glimpse of these motivated students from 39:55 to 40:03 warmed my heart. My dream is to teach and transfer all I know to them. When students are motivated, the knowledge acquisition rate is also near 90%. I have not come across students like them in the US at least in public schools (urban settings). The kids in the poorest schools still have the equipment and resources that these kids could only dream of. Yet, they are at the bottom.

The country’s government should build bridges for the children to cross safely to school, invest more in the country’s future. For the children whom live so far away there should be a dormitory built at the school property so that the children do not have to travel home during the week. They will be able to concentrate more in school. Bolivia’s President Morales, could do more to help his students not have to travel so far everyday.

Such interesting issues. The hard life in nature with food you grow in a sense is the heaven on earth we are all supposed to live rather than the richer life with money in towns. That is the irony of it -that what we have sought is in fact mankind's undoing.

I just cannot agree to put a child through such dangers. Education is important, but not more than life. This is extremely too much. To walk for hours turnaround walk for more hours back climb dangerously slippery areas now it’s too much. The government should step in maybe a little one room school. Something. Under shoes, flimsy slippers I’m feeling so upset and stressed about this.

They definitely need a 1 room school this is insane!!!! The people of the country should get together and build a safe space for the children. It doesn't seem like the Presidents of these poor countries even care.

I have three younger siblings who I had to help my mom with, so seeing the older sister help her mom by feeding the baby reminds me of something I learned from my mom and grandma as a child... ‘when you feel sorry for yourself, remember there are others who are worse off than you think you are, so always remember to be thankful for what you have’. I have never forgotten that.
