I remember Laura in this contest well, a lot of work was done for this performance and the song and performance are really good, deserved more and still deserves more attention. Look how she uses her voice eventhough the dancing is physically exhausting while singing. Amazing! Especially in 02:25. You can see she was already almost out of breath at this point but somehow she gets so powerful voice out and completely on note. the song hasnt aged much in 22 years. Only thing i think went wrong is the mention of "drug" in the song. A bit controversial to 2002 Eurovision now that i think about it.
I'm not a fan of this, but Finland totally got screwed over that year. They would have escaped relegation if Greece and Macedonia hadn't been involved in vote swapping.
Agree, that ultra-short hair & that outfit, ie. very androgynous look, just doesn't go down in most of Europe, even if does in Finland (unfortunately)...
Totally underrated, she deserved at least top 15. But the guy on the backing vocals is hilarious :D
