It was good to see the respect you have for your father Adrian - that was a nice touch - I lost my father on 22nd May aged 92 - his family bought the first T20 in our parts in the late 40s/early 50s - he knew these tractors inside out - I miss him this father's day and every day - cherish yours while you have him
Really sorry to hear this Henry, my condolences mate. Ya I realise todays video will bring back a lot of memories for people and I realise how fortunate i am to still get to do these things with mine. Memories last a lifetime 👍
Thanks Adrian
Likewise. My father was similar vintage, he would’ve been 91 this august but I lost him in 1993, way to soon. Cherish your father Adrian, he’ll be a fountain knowledge and, if he’s like mine he’ll be your hero too. Great video, hope there’s many more to come. 👍👏👏👏
You'll remember this moment with the old man in years to come!
I have the same one, 1955. We renewed the engine two years ago. It’s fun to drive it on field roads and woods. My friends are amazed to see something so old working so well. Greetings from Croatia.
There is something about these old Massey Ferguson's. Lovely old tractors either in grey or red,
What a wonderful moment Adrian I had a big lump in my throat when I saw the joy in both your faces.GHTYAY
My dad taught me to drive on a little Ferguson when I was about 8 years old by the time I was 10 I could drive on my own great little tractor to learn on
I helped him collecting the eggs/ feeding etc from the 8000 hens on the farm my payment was driving the tractor
If the car wasn’t working he would take us kids to school on the trailer fantastic memories
Dad passed away 25 years ago miss him a lot
All the best to you and your family 👍
Your dad is such a sweetheart. It must bring such amazing memories for him.

Fair play to your Father for chatting away Adrian. Your smile says it all. A memory to treasure
Good man Adrian, very appropriate on fathers day that your father fired up the 20.
I'm 30 years without my father and I miss him every day.
Your father looked to be in his element, you could see he wanted a spin on her. Great work done Adrian, thank you very much for bringing us along with you.
Happy fathers day to you and your father.
Good job Adrian. Ours is positive earth. That's the way they were made. The banjo bolt looks very similar to one on a tvo tank. We got our tank refurbished at brownlow radiators in lurgan. Made a great job of it.
Good to see your Dad when it started.
I have a 1956 tef20 and she's a bugger to start.
Kind regards
Jim

What a smashing video Adrian, father and son sharing memories together, well done on restoration of the little TF20,all that's left is to take the colour off the mudguards and make it look natural👍🤗
Great vid today. Was nice to c ur father out!!!!
My father’s Ferguson was the most treasured tractor he ever owned. He started his decline in 2015 and his Fergie sat at the farm until 2019 when I started trying to get it going again. I would fiddle with it when I would visit. One weekend I got it going but barely. My mother and I brought Daddy outside and sat him in a chair. I worked with it cutting grass and bushes. While I was making rounds on it I glanced at him and his face was lit up like he was a kid at the circus. It runs like a champ today and I always think about how my father loved it when I am driving her. I inherited it when he passed in 2020. I plan to strip it down, repair and repaint her to her original glory.
I'd listen to your dad all day 💝💝💝I miss mine looking Down at me now
Great to see your Boss man/Dad. My Dad was 89 last week, my Mum is already bored with him saying he is in his ninetieth year.
Happy fathers day to both of you.
Congratulations on getting the tractor to work.
Nice touch getting your Dad to start it up...
Great video again Adrian great Father’s Day present
Great video your dad looks well pleased 👍
Hello from Moosomin, Saskatchewan, Canada thanks for sharing your great videos
Reminds me of the two te20’s we had when I was a young bloke back in the 70’s
Brilliant video with a little bit of nostalgia.
Lovely video Adrian, when she started your Dad put both hands on the wheel and there was a lovely smile on his face. That’s what it’s about
Nice one Adrian , I drove a grey fergie when I left school in the late fifties , petrol / parrafin engine ,all they had in those day's .
That’s a fine gift for your father! I rebuilt a 1950 Ford 8N (the USA’s tractor that filled the roll the little Fergie played over there) over the last year and a bit. Saving these old machines is important.
Sure as bet, your father is well proud of you Adrian. Great video
I'm so glad to see that tractor going again and most importantly, the joy it brought your father. I was born in the year that your father bought the tractor that you were talking about. I have a digital copy of an old cine film of my great-uncle holding me in his arms as he drove a Massey Ferguson 35 (red one) as pulling a hay trailer. Assuming that was taken in June when he typically made hay, I would have only been about 3 months old. You brought a smile to my face also.
Good memories to have Andrew
Adrian,Greetings from Maghera,Co Derry,I love your video on the TEF 20,I have one myself manufactured 1958 and it has a STADRI cab fitted,They truly are a wee workhorse an amazing piece of kit on any small farm,Thanks for uploading the videos
Put a smile on my face this morning !
Great video Adrian great to see your dad he’s a Fresh man for his age
Bloody hell Adrian I had a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes, just a beautiful moment no other words for it. 😢
Great stuff. Nice to see ya old man love how he just wanted to "give it some beans". 😂😂👍👍
Good man Adrian... Great video.... Nice to see your father getting to start her... Im sure it Brough back great memories for him...
The likely cause of the tractor reving up and down could be the diaphragm in the back of the pump...
Happy Father’s Day. Your da best!
My dad is 78. I've got a t20 bought. Cant wait to get it sorted. Best video you've done to date. You're a great lad Adrian. I'm buzzing after watching this. 👏👏👏👏🇮🇪
