  • This video explores all of the controls, functionality and buttons that are used in Daikin's Service Checker platform both Service Checker3 and Service Checker4. I cover the what items are being displayed and what they are referencing within the program to help you understand what you should be looking at based upon the issues or symptoms.
This video is a basic guide for those who are unfamiliar with the Service Checker program or need a refresher on what they are looking at within the program.

How do I view the refrigerant piping diagram?

Unfortunately you will have to reference the refrigerant piping diagram in the Service Manual as Service Checker currently does not have an active flow diagram like other manufacturers.

So I'm still on service checker 3. Is outdoor suction temp(line item 77) air entering outdoor coil? I would want to use suction pipe temp(line item 79) minus evaporator temp to calculate superheat correct? Do I not have operation mode on service checker 3?

What is the model of your equipment? Based upon the model it may have 2 suction temp sensors. Yes thats correct VRV4 and newer is the only models with Control Modes.
