  • See inside of my math manipulative box! I'll share our most used hands on math pieces for kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. Most of our math manipulatives have been used on all 3 kids, with the majority of pieces used around kindgergarten and 1st grade to work on number sense and place value.

Thanks for sharing what works for your kids. It's amazing to see how you've adapted them over the years.

Glad you found it helpful! Ya it was fun to take everything out and see what actually gets used the most, and for which years. There’s always printables online for things or cheaper ways to do place value like “10 beans inside of a ziplock bag” (which I’ve seen some curriculums use.) But it’s certainly convenient to have some of these purchased items on hand.

Do you remember the website for the money? I’ve been looking for exactly that!

O I forgot to add that to the links! I’ll go update that. I think this is it: www.uscurrency.gov/sites/default/files/downloadable-materials/files/en/printable-play-money-en.pdf
