    Nice build, looking forward how it fits for your riding! I tried out 29 inch wheels, They felt too bulky for me, I couldn't handle them well. I sold the 29 fully and buyed a used liteville 311 in 26inch wheels in the size m (iḿ 1,86cm tall) and felt in love with this bike! It has 12,5Kg and is so playful. There are nice videos with this bike out there (vertriders for example).

      I'm really surprised at how well I've adapted to this geometry and wheel size so far - I was really concerned that it wasn't going to handle the same way as my 27.5" bikes. So far, so good...but I do miss the benefits of a 26" bike every now and then. Would be interesting to switch back and ride a smaller bike, just to see!

    That's a pretty awesome build. I just traded in my Trek Marlin 7 XC hard tail bike for a Diamondback SyncR because I needed in a hard tail something a little more rugged and it really makes a big difference the components on the bike, the Diamondback doesn't have internal cable routing though so you do get to see the cables in all their glory and being a more aggressive hard tail it is quite heavy but I like heavy bikes, they feel more stable over jumps for me. Don't get me wrong the Marlin for XC and light work is a fantastic bike but it's not suited for heavy riding or a heavy rider.

    • @SuperRiderTV
      @SuperRiderTV  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Right on - I had a DB for ages (actually still do) and it held up great! The weight side of things doesn't bother me too much, either. I like the stability, and honestly for the style of riding I do, I barely notice the weight in most cases.

    Hands down my favorite and most noticeable upgrade I’ve done to a bike is a set of industry 9 wheels with hydra’s totally transforms the ride, also can’t go wrong with Hayes dominions either love those brakes! I agree that I found that choice a little strange too, I've always gone with more (or equal) grip on the front than the rear for MTB and this seemed a bit strange, but it may come from wanting to be able to do trialsy stuff on the bike where rear grip often matters more.

      I think so - or at least, it fits my riding style and the trails I like to ride. Rocky, technical bits…I’ve had good luck with these tires in the past, so I just stuck with what had worked.
