I'm not sure if Julia LD will read this, but I just want to say that she/you have now just about equaled my favorite interviewer (Terri Gross at NPR). You have a wonderful personality: an amazing listener, funny as always and that infectious laugh of yours, your questions and follow-ups, choice of magnificent guests, and the overarching theme of Wise Women.
Thank you so much! I am the kind of person that listens to all the episodes in a week, so now I am replete and anxiously anticipating Season 2.
Also, I don't know what hole my head was buried in, but I just saw your Mark Twain award ceremony AND the great film You Hurt My Feelings. As for the former, the highlights were 1) your G-D Fricking funniest acceptance speech ever made (I laughed so hard I almost puked) 2) the funniest dance by Ilana and Abby and I really did appreciate 3) Jerry's brief but seemingly heartfelt speech about the "network note" thing. As for the latter, this is now one of my favorite films ( to include Julia from the 1970's , as you did).
Thank you for enhancing life on the earth for many years. Wishing many more years of your shine and light.
