TF2's "Meet the Team", but with Monster Hunter monsters...

- So a while ago I was asked if I could animate the "Meet the Team" videos but with MH monsters instead, and this was the result.
The monsters chosen to be in this animation were not my own, besides Archimedes, but were instead chosen by some mutuals from a Discord server, and specifically voted for.

@@ThatRandomDude204 The Ahtal-kas that you fight in the game are all female. There are male Ahtal-kas and they are naturally gold in color (females become gold by eating the males), so I'm guessing Tea Common Shark is going by the assumption that male Ahtal-kas don't look that different from the females?
@@dragonfire5000 Well we've never seen one before so It's fair game (I'd be disappointed if it isn't as fucking awesome as the female Ahtal-Ka boss fight)
@@ThatRandomDude204 yeah the one you fight is a female, there are males however, which are smaller, but we've never been shown one so you might as well just slap the model we know
Khezu being a surgeon is a comedic image all by itself, everything was a cherry on top
Plus it makes sense since khezu sets are always geared towards support skills

For many years I thought Deviljho was the MH equivalent of Heavy (large, intimidating, gluttonous, etc.). Only now I realized it wouldn't be able to hold not even a sandwich with those scrawny arms.
And Goss being a bear makes it all the better lol

I can see Lucent Narga using his tail as an impromptu knife and the poison spikes as a revolver replacement. Lucent Narga is probably a better fit as Spy than Ahtal Ka is for Engi.
I hope full versions are in progress. I already like what I see.

There are many monsters that make more sense to take the place of Pyro, but for some reason I find it comical using Bob instead and am happy with the choice 🔥
I mean bob is maniac just like its original counterpart, and can breathe fire
I am in love with how Khezu is animated saying “Archimedes! No!”
And Archimedes being a Qurio helps too - because that's exactly what Qurio do when they find a host...they burrow inside.
That scene of BOB with the flamethrower was genuinely terrifying
It's like it's like walking on a chimp when they find a rock and they realize they could throw it at you
Khezu hasn't had their medical license revoked, it just can't find it because it's blind
And then Rajang turns out to be Saxton Hale
Naw it’s Deviljho, makes sense given Hale hunted Sasquatch (rajang) to extinction
I like how you just gave up on animating Ceanataur's mouth parts to accurately lip-sync (if you could call it that) and just made them _aggressively jiggle around_ when he's speaking because trying to animate words with that kind of mouth would a Sisyphean task.

I imagine if a recreation of Meet The Spy is done with MH monsters, that part probably won't come up

Y'know, Brachydios with soldier's voice fits uncomfortably well. This is my new headcanon. Same goes for Yian Garuga scout.

One thing I LOVE about this is that Khezu is the Medic since its armor sets look like doctor/nurse clothing. Excellent detail!

Khezu is the Medic. He just is. Ahtal-Ka would absolutely be Engineer. The argument could be made for Bob being Demoman, but Bazel works. Pyro could also be Agnaktor. I headcannon Scout being a velociprey who just wants to run with the big guys. Spy is absolutely either Gigginox or Lucent Nargacuga. I have no complaints about Heavy, he's great. Sniper being Shogun Ceanetaur is pretty good. But, I feel like he could also be a Seregios.

If Medic's doves are Qurio, wouldn't it make more sense for Malzeno to be the Medic? Then again, Khezu armor and weapons are modeled after medical attire and tools, so I guess either one could ostensibly work.
