- San Francisco Bay Area has some of the best artisanal bakeries with a special focus on wild yeast (aka sourdough) breads. There were too many to choose from but here's my list of the top, award-winning bakeries from around the Bay. Starting with Manresa Bread in South Bay, to Tartine Bakery and Craftsman and Wolves in San Francisco, to Arizmendi Bakery in the East Bay. I'll also show you some of their most popular baked goods.

Love Tartine. We were leaving San Francisco and getting a dessert there. Last pastry and the customer in front of us took it. Plenty of other stuff tho. Nearby is the bi rite creamery. Do SF ice cream review please. Or anything delicious before I get there next month. 🍰🍨🍩🥧🍮☕

I like Schubert's Bakery on Clement Street. Best Princess Cake! Semifreddi's Bakery in Berkeley has great sourdough!

It's almost unfair or criminal that your bakeries in San Francisco are that good. 😀 I knew that your sourdough was great, but the bakeries in this video were a pleasant surprise.

In your opinion who has the best donuts in the bay area
Hello! IMO, SF is not a big donut town (and that's based on comparisons with other cities like Chicago where there's a cult-like following). BUT, some of the most popular are Bob's Donuts in Nob Hill for the old fashioned kind (their hallmark is the apple fritter which my friend swears by), Dynamo Donuts in Mission for the trendier flavor combos, and Mr. Holmes Bakehouse for their famous cruffin. In South Bay, Stan's has a huge following for traditional donut flavors..
