  • Tricksters can come in a variety of forms, yet few are as startling and alien looking as the Tikbalang, of Philippine mythology! Popularly portrayed as a tall and gangly creature with a horse's head and hooves and spindly limbs, the Tikbalang is not as dangerous as other monsters from Filipino lore, but its powers of shapeshifting and illusion casting combined with its love of scaring and toying with wayward travelers make the Tikbalang a chilling and even deadly monster of mythology!

I got a shudder going up my spine listening to the description of such a creepy creature as the Tikbalang.
I doubt that l will have the misfortune to meet one, only due to the oceans that separate me from it's home turf and that is definitely a blessing.
Although l am not out of the woods, so to speak, as there are plenty of mythological beings in the areas that l frequent and l must say it is very frightening experience to encounter any one of them in reality, dare l say even more so in these last days.
Thank you, content creator l truly enjoy all aspects of your channel.

A creature of myth, rightly feared by most, and yet that armed with knowledge of its legend, I would consider it an honor to encounter, show respect to, and perhaps only have mercifully harmless dealings with.

Philippines have a lot fascinating supernatural creatures. Even today, their presence still prevalent throughout the country especially on rural communities. In such places where word of mouth passed by grandfathers and grandmothers about the monsters that lurk at the depths of nights. The most reoccuring nightmarish entities are either Aswang, Manananngal, and White Lady, an elemental or wandering spirit.

There are a number of interesting supernatural creatures in the Philippines. Their influence is felt all over the nation, particularly in rural areas, right up to the present day. This is the kind of place where tales of nightmarish creatures were passed down through generations. Aswang, Manananngal, and the White Lady-an elemental or wandering spirit-are the most recurring nightmare creatures.

a play station 2 game that was only released in europe and japan, it's the remake for the arcade game "altered beast" in project altered beast for the playstation 2, "full japanese name (chronicles of the beasts' lord: project altered beast)" yoou play as a "genome cyborg" a human chimera who can transform into 10 forms including human form.
one of the very late stages in the game, shows your enemies as "werehorses" and they are literally the copy of Tikbalang!
i have the entire game walkthrough on my channel in case you were curious.
