Rode down to queen street, was a nice ride over all. Episode 60 is next, maybe I should do something? Each ride I survive without incident is another victory - thanks to my friends, and viewers that have stuck with me.

It’s been pretty good for me these last couple of days. I went on my longest bike ride yesterday b/c of your rides as inspiration. I was aiming for 30 miles but only got 28 b/c I am navigationally stupid. Good luck on your weight loss journey and I 100% agree with your opinions about these bright ass lights. So bright and they still suck at driving, 😂.
Thanks man - I'm glad to hear you're out riding - 28 miles is still a lot - 30 miles is triple what I ride daily, so that's a really impressive effort, you'll get super fit in no time from that!

Yes! long before I started recording these around 5 years ago I was riding my BMX going about 30 sprinting there was an uber driver was stopped in the middle of the right lane (not pulled over to the right of the right lane) Traffic was busy on the left so I had to go right and the passenger door flung ALL the way open in less than half a second. I leaned my bike as far right as I could and then jumped off and hit the ground running and then jumped on to the side walk grabbed on to a light poll - I can actually show you where i got doored - it was just before the bus stop at 30:30 in this video. - In this series since I've started recording I can think of 1 time I almost got doored. I'm usually really cautious about it though even if it looks like I'm not.

@@rustyburger I avoid city biking especially at night...I am 78 so ride mostly in parks or in light city traffic your videos are interesting thank you

Lol, thank you - I don't find it all that charming, I'm trying to cuss/react less but it's really hard to stop. It does help me move on from feeling annoyed somewhat rather then bottling it up! At least the other person doesn't hear me thankfully.

What’s the point of those long videos posted?
Saves me time on editing, tracks my rides for myself so I know how fast i'm going by my time. shows my city and some of what was happening on said day of riding when I generally ride the same area. The videos are dated and tagged so if someone is looking for someone, or something maybe it could lead them to it. My personal friends want a way to stay connected with me even though we're in each others lives less these days, filming gives me a lot of insight into my own mind/what I was thinking in a moment which allows me to self reflect more accurately on a situation after a ride rather then thinking "i'm always 100% right" because I'm not, it also allows me to be critical of my own riding and places where I can make a lot of small improvements.
There are a lot of reasons why I do this, even more then what I've just stated.
