CRASH MORNING MOOD - Downhill / Descent / Road Bike / Traffic / Speed / Street / POV / Cycling Ride

With the body battered, 23c tires thinner than my thumb, I'm glad to pass page on this cursed descent LOL in turn I learned a lot, the crash i had was due to a front wheel puncture causing the wipe out in a gravel turn, realised I was pushing the speed too much in that section hitting the rims with rocks and roots as tires where very low pressure, normally one can notice instantly when a wheel has flatted but the permanent hits to the rim kept the puncture under the radar until too late, so as a general rule I'd say rim hits are a red flag to watchout from now on. I was totally convinced if anything the rear wheel would flat, of course turns out the front wheel isn't invincible either, but finally learned to achieve zero punctures with a road bike in this types of rides (crazy i know) controlling the speed, a fast enough hit can always bottom out and puncture a 23 c tire, and also checking everyday that the pressure is no less than a half of the max. value specified by the manufacturer, after every "intense" mountain bike ride the tubes loose pressure faster than usual.
