The Wicked Spoon is largely considered one of the best buffets in Las Vegas so I hope you enjoy this review!

Man, everything looked pretty good, but for $38 I was surprised at your reactions to some items, especially the beef! Great vid as usual!
It was still a really enjoyable meal. You take a gamble in buffets (like all things in Vegas) on how long the dish has been out on the line. I'm sure if I got that tri tip earlier, it would have been a lot better. It was also sitting there pre-sliced when I got it, so it's possible a lot of the juices came out as it was resting after the cut. I'll definitely be going back for a lunch review sometime in the future so I'll try it again. Thanks for watching!

Hi Shin! Yes bacon needs to be crispy! Lol…thanks for making this video…especially since you went during breakfast/ brunch time everyone likes to do just dinner. When we go to Vegas when it cools down we will try Wicked Spoon because of your review because it has breakfast options other than American food. The variety seems good…yes a place with great eggs Benedict…Shin since you live there, is Vegas crazy busy during November and December during holiday time usually? Or since reopening since pandemic? Can’t wait to see you gamble at casinos on the videos…another great job on another video. Keep up the great work!
Another member of team crispy bacon! Love it! And yes, I really enjoy Wicked Spoon for their solid variety. If you do go, please let me know what you think! November and December are very much the off season and not as busy, but that's not to say that you won't see crowds. Vegas is definitely back up to full visitor capacity since the pandemic and it's quite crowded now with the summer season. I am working on a resort review/tour video but none of them come out the way I'd like so I'm still trying to film those lol. Thanks for watching!
Take your time Shin on the resort videos! This CZcams stuff takes time…hhhmmm maybe you are a perfectionist! Practice makes perfect and don’t be too hard on yourself if video doesn’t come out right. I like watching your channel because your reviews don’t come across as rehearsed or like when people talk it’s like a tongue twister and they speed through the buffet. You’re a natural at this because I noticed you know how to speak to the camera and your audience. Stay safe and healthy!

Yes! Wicked Spoon is one my favs!
My favorite buffet. Price is on point for what they offer. The staff is always welcoming. Our servers always keep an eye on refills. No complaints here. The dessert options are very good.

For a weekday breakfast there seemed to be some good options as a brunch. French toast made with brioche is the best. Trader Joe's sells brioche and have made French toast at home a few times, and it is amazing. It has been 15 years since my only visit to Wicked Spoon, need to get back there. Awesome work as always Shin!!

Another Great video. Im a very big Char Siu Bao fan, and I was sad to hear that it was dry. Where is the best Dim Sum in Vegas?
Thank you! My personal favorite dim sum in Vegas is Tim Ho Wan at the Palms or KJ Dim Sum at the Rio. I've heard really great things about Ping Pang Pong but I haven't personally eaten there.
Surprised to see several “empty” stations and minimal items remaining in other areas. Too bad they don’t clean up spills in a timely fashion and the plate of garlic cloves was a big turn off. Not impressed with their breakfast buffet. There are several restaurants in Vegas for a fantastic sit down breakfast. Thank you for presenting an honest review! Your delivery in describing each item is flawless! It’s as if I’m tasting the food along with you!

They do refill relatively regularly and it's possible I went up during one of the gaps. The buffet is also really popular so items go fast. Glad you enjoyed, thanks for watching!
You mentioned you did not see how that bite was Korean, which leads me to wonder, what makes a bite Korean? Great Video, by the way.
It's about a general flavor profile. Korean cuisine uses a lot of sesame, chili, and fermented ingredients. Kind of like the way one might say a food tastes Italian because of oregano, tomato, and garlic. Thanks for watching!
So would you say there is a huge difference between breakfast and lunch? And which one do you recommend?
The single biggest difference is the addition of crab legs and I think the pricing is well worth the lunch just for those. The majority of food at the Wicked Spoon is very tasty though and you can't go wrong either way

Did is hear correctly you can pay more for a fast pass? Buffets are already expensive.
Yes. Wicked Spoon did have an option to skip the line and I think it was an extra $20+ dollars. I got there right at opening and was the 4th person in so it wasn't a big deal for me but trying to go in for lunch when they have crab legs the line can get pretty long. If you're a certain level of Identity member with the Cosmopolitan, you can also skip the line. I don't play much at cosmo so I don't get that perk but now that they're under the MGM maybe I'll be able to take advantage of that one day. Thanks for watching!

The crazy deals/ultimate value Las Vegas strip we all knew and loved is unfortunately a thing of the past. Even cheap eats are considered items under and around $10 nowadays

My last stay at cosmo wicked spoon was included daily in my rate so I kind of overdosed on it. Looks a little sad now, left behind where it used to lead.

I have been so disappointed in the Buffets. Covid destroyed them. I have been going off strip to eat.Sure hope they can go back to the old ways.
I personally hit up the much more price friendly South Point and off strip buffets as well. $25 for a dinner buffet compared to $60+ is a no brainer. I typically only eat at the strip to entertain friends or make videos for CZcams. Sadly I think the old days are gone and this post covid era is the new nomal.

Yeah those veggie dumplings looked inauthentic. I've had really good veggie dumplings. better than meat ones. I always use sauce with my dumplings and other dimsum.

love your videos but this time you seem super hurried. so i hit pause time to time to see what you were saying about the food on the buffet.
I didn't think I was rushing while filming but watching it back it does go a bit fast and someone else commented the same thing. I'll stay more aware of that next time.

I received similar feedback before and have started to pause longer on each food item for my buffet reviews. That buffet honestly didnt look that impressive for the price and it also seemed to many dishes looked to empty
I agree, the breakfast buffet is decent at best. The Wicked Spoon shines at lunch service when crab legs are added to the mix and the price point is still relatively low compared to the other top tier buffets that offer premium seafood options like crab.

Sheesh! This made me not want to go here, this buffet looks like they don’t replenish items quick enough and it’s messy.
It's one of the most popular buffets and it can definitely lead to messier stations and some items being missing longer depending on the rush of eaters. I've had mixed experiences and it really depends on the timing of when you go up to eat. Thanks for watching!

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, The Wicked Spoon was super excellent! Now it's not worth the wait or money.
I also thought the Spoon was better prior to the pandemic but that could be nostalgic rose colored glasses. It's still one of the better buffets in Vegas, but I do feel like it just had something extra before. Thanks for watching!
