    Yay!
    You are finally making a video using this type of standard normal distribution

    Hello, do you conduct online tutoring? If so, I would be interested.

    Mr. Emmanuel, are we actually doing calculus, i.e., derivatives and integrals when we do normal distribution analysis using the Z table?

    • @joshemman
      @joshemman  Před rokem

      Yes. The areas in the table will represent definite integrals of the standard normal probability density function.

      @@joshemman Yes! It's amazing how there is a hand full of central equations like exponential y = ab^2 which are applicable to different problems like interest rates and half-life analysis. Thanks for the response.

    If we have a value of Z to 3 dp do we need to convert that to 2dp and then take the value from the table?

    • @joshemman
      @joshemman  Před 7 měsíci

      Yes, you need to first correctly round to 2 decimal places before you use the table.

    hi, Excel =NORMSDIST(1.32)-0.5 IS NOT WORKING

    what si the difference between subtracting 1 or 0.5

    • @joshemman
      @joshemman  Před 2 měsíci

      It depends on the type of table you have. Area under the entire cuver is 1 while the area under half of the area is 0.5.
