SEED STORIES | Manpukuji Carrot: A Japanese Root Revival

- Manpukuji carrots are a tribute to the long, slender carrots of ancient Japan. They once grew abundantly in the fields near Kawasaki City and Yokohama, and were dubbed "the best carrot in Japan." But these sweet roots that can grow to nearly three feet long nearly disappeared in the wake of changing agricultural practices and urbanization. Thankfully, these elegant carrots are making a comeback! Find them on rareseeds.com: www.rareseeds.com/store/veget...

I was born and raised in the remote village of China. My family used to grow giant red carrots size of a big dickon radish. It was crispy, juicy, and sweet. We ate it as an apple. I'm looking for the seeds of this old heirloom carrots in the USA, I haven't get it yet.
Hopefully you can acquire the seed
Try rareseedcompany. They have Manpukuji carrots
I wish I had the right soil for these. Maybe one day. Regardless, this was fascinating!!!
We should all do our part to save any plant that is in danger of extinction.
👋😎👌
Who has got garden soil deep and fine enough to grow that? Give me Chantenay Red Core any day.
Maybe a raised bed would be best for these
Can we get these seeds?
Yes, they're available at rareseeds.com.
Don't fear these times we are in, for there is hope.
The hope is in Christ Jesus,
And I encourage people to draw close to the Lord and Savior in these uncertain times.
And for the non beleivers to have an open mind
About having a relationship with their creator.
For God made you special and he loves you very much. 😊
Romans thought everything was an aferdeziac (however you spell that 😂)
Ok, I would have never thought that was a female narrator. Interesting, but don't like her voice very much
