Some of the health challenges the wife of such a person faces include : 1. Hepatitis B which is not curable. 2. Human immune virus (HIV) which also does not have a cure. 3. Syphilis which can lead to other immune problems when not detected early. 4. Post traumatic disorder ect. On the how a woman can protect herself and her health, a 100% protection is not guaranteed but with Allah's protection and mercy a woman can be safe. And with periodic check ups, so as to detect any form of abnormalities in her system early. And if the trauma caused due to her husband actions is unbearable, she can opt for divorce.
