ct20, multiple del 2lt, y lo mantuve standar, este motor aguanta el turbo sin problemas, solo mejore la culata hermanando las salidas de admision y escape, ademas mejore el sistema de refrigeracion, los sensores son la clave para sacar el 100% de este motor, trabajar cn la temperatura y la presion del turbo cuando vas a fondo es la clave

Hola!, Te cuento que quiero encarar un proyecto similar, pero no me decido si por el motor 2l o 3l. Ya que en mi país el 3l tiene "mala fama" por ser más gastador y menos fiable que el 2l. Ojalá me puedas decir tu experiencia. La idea es hacerlo turbo.
La mala fama de la linea "L" siempre ha sido por problemas de temperatura, pero en mi pais, muchos estamos de acuerdo que el 3L es el mas confiable, de esta linea. Con la configuracion que tengo, estoy muy conforme en su rendimiento, que es de 8km/L, ahora el 3L tiene una culata que es mas gruesa que el 2L, por ende seria mejor opcion a turbinear. En mi experiencia personal, el secreto de hacer bien una modificacion de turbo esta en la temperatura y presion de turbo, y todo dependera de que buscas lograr con este motor. en mi caso estoy cargando 0,7 bar como maximo y nunca paso los 470° C a mi parecer son numeros bastantes conservadores cuando piso el acelerador a fondo.

In a prolonged rise, the temperature is maximum 500 C, on the straight lines 350-400 C on the highway, in the city 200-300 C. There are 12 plunger plans (pump from 1KZT). For cooling the coolant - I have a thermostat for 82 and a pump pulley from 1KZT, it is smaller in diameter than that of 3L. Coolant temperature on the highway 75 C + -2 C

I'm not a mechanic, I'm a engineer and this job took me around 300 hours doing by my self, so it's kind of hard to say how much, I think maybe in a good place they would charge you around $US 1.2k without materials and parts.

Don't sell it. I had a ln106 and wish I didn't sell it. Got a new toyota hilux and they are fucken shit. To anyone out there thinking about buying a new toyota hilux don't go look for something else. I've had nothing but trouble with my new one and Toyota just aren't interested in doing anything about it. All they want is your money and then to hell with the customer.

Exelente video podría decirme que turbo instaló y cuál múltiple de escape y q modificación aplicó en el motor que aguante la presión

To break in the engine, I load the pick up with around 300 kg, and then I drove it for like 50km. Also I set the boost and checked exhaust temperature

You can find the original turbo (ct20 from 2lt engine), in my country I had to put an aftermarket one

is this engine came originally turbo?or iis it 2l engine turbo kit or modified? how many bars of boost pressure will reach?
Toyota 3L engine comes without turbo, I put the 2lt turbo (ct20), and the boost its 0,7 bar maximum I don't need more than that.
@Leandro Bastias When you put the 2lt turbo on your 3L engine, did you tune something for the new turbo or just put it on?
I just touched the fuel pump, a little more fuel for the extra air, and that's it.

Yes as long as the engine is in good condition it can handle it just don't go crazy on the fuel remember it needs the air more then the extra diesel
