What's that at 4 minutes, they are re-sleeving the engine? Did they bore out the block off-screen?
It's a dry sleeve block.Why would they bore a block to replace sleeves?Like Perkins engines,never had to bore the block.If you don't have hydraulic press for sleeves put them in dry ice for ten minutes and they will drop right in.

Can you install a 2L turbo kit on 5L engine?
You can, but it will generate too much heat, the manifold and turbo is too small. Wont last long with that

This engine is not a 2800cc
The block says 2L which is a 2400cc (2.4L)

As I've understood it, the 3L uses the same block as the 2L, the difference is in crankshaft geometry that gives that extra 0.4 litres, also it's a 2440cc engine if we're going to be really pedantic about it.
@@abrahamedelstein4806 not only the crankshaft, also piston size. It is a different block.
3L and 5L uses the same crankshaft, but bigger pistons.
@@cotisado16 I'm going to have to take your word for, but I do know people swap 2L-II and 3L heads. I seem to recall that the 5L had a taller block.
@@abrahamedelstein4806 3L and 5L block are pretty much the same, just bored as far as im aware. I think 5L had better cooling properties.
The reason why the 3L head is bolted to a 2L (Mostly 2LTE as they have terrible heads) Is an upgrade on its own. Withstands more and is durable
