Today we will look at one of the most shocking and disturbing cases I've ever seen, a person who destroyed several lives and doesn't care in the least bit. Subscribe for more!
Hey everyone, hope you enjoy the video. Thanks for all the kind messages you've been sending me, I really appreciate and read every single one of them! I just wanted to let you know that I made a mistake and said that she was 2 times over the legal limit but, even worse, she was 3 times over the legal limit. Sorry for that🙏
But what I don't understand is why you're not out there right now unzipping and servicing a badged terrorist in person instead of giving them virtual head on here.
@@josephmartin5483 she's high on some med in addition to alcohol. being impaired and @why does this happen to me? I go to Brandley. isn't going to help her.
@@josephmartin5483 if you are condoning this behavior, you're as big an idiot as she is. If they DID walk out in front of her, and had she not been totally drunk on her ass, she probably could have avoided hitting them. They call it being "impaired" for a reason.🙄🙄
I believe it was shock reaction, just the way her brain protects her in a stress situation. I don't believe she had any control over reactions and was almost in an alternate reality. I'm not defending her crime by any means, but I don't believe she is as evil is it may seem at this time.
I just looked this case up online and according to the article, after she was sentenced, she addressed the families of the people she killed in open court and was quoted as saying, "I will live with this everyday, and i will try to live for all of us." So even when she's stone cold sober, she was still of the opinion that she was the victim, and telling the families that she was somehow going to make up for killing their loved ones by "living for them". Truly a complete psychopath.
Crazy, seems likely. Most women who never had to take responsibility for anything in their life usually are. They believe they can never do anything wrong which is probably why she is in denial about killing these people. She literally dont believe the cops cuz that would mean she acrually did something wrong which in her mind is impossible. Psychopath? I doubt it, thats not something psychopath would say.
Isn’t that better than the opposite? What if she said she’ll never reflect on it? Or saying she won’t live with their lives in mind? Also are we not all victims of our own decisions? This is obviously abhorrent behavior and she’s clearly out of her mind, and the little I’ve seen of this situation it seems she’s at least trying to be better now than this, which is obviously her lowest moment
I am goin to be honest, I disagree extremely. Maybe because I am from a Scandinavian country, and quiet frankly, men in the US always seem to need to answer women, or clearly clawing for a response/reaction (just being very honest about American interactions with women in general). But the dude should def. have just not said anything after saying that the conversation is over, or at the very least, said it before saying the conversation is over. Even though he meant it, and it came from the heart, professionalism kinda flies out the window. Specially after a very clear and concise explanation of what horrors she has brought.
@@unbekannt2898 Yeah it is hard for me to believe that even a total psychopath wouldn't know they are supposed to at least to pretend to be upset. It's so bizarre that I have to think there's more to this than her being a 'bad person'.
He was camera shy. Who knows what he would've done without that body cam (this chick was acting insufferable). This is why all cops need body cams at all times.
It's a strategy that spoiled kids use. They just avoid the blame by acting like everything is normal and I guess it works on some parents. Thankfully it doesn't work on the US legal system.
The part where she says something like " I don't do things like this, I go to Bradley," is chilling. It's like we have a mental health crisis in this country, mass narcissism.
Yup. Everyone is Insta, TikTok, or CZcams famous for ridiculous reasons, have zero sense of actual reality and its consequences, and have no idea how to interact in a meaningful way outside of their devices. Just another example. Like people walking backwards off cliffs while taking selfies.
@@raucousmortuary Also the end result of parents being buddies with their kids instead of being parents. You hear the stories of Mom's going to their kids'job interviewers and grilling them, then they wonder why their kid didn't get the job?
Hats off to the cop supervising her in the hospital. He was direct and professional. He was angry, you can tell, but he handled it so well and even said what we all wanted her to hear.
Starr from University of Michigan Law School found that, controlling for the crime, "men receive 63% longer sentences on average than women do," and "[w]omen are… twice as likely to avoid incarceration if convicted", also based on data from US federal court cases.
@@thedarknessunderneathpodca6366 Mes rea means "guilty mind", not specifically direct intent. She went out to a bar, knowing that her plan to get home was to drive, and she drank while out. She was in full knowledge of the potential consequences of such actions, thats both mens rea and actus reus in the charge of causing death by recklesness. 14 is pretty appropriate.
This entire case truly depressed me. Not just the inadequacy of justice, but thinking of how many people there are like this. I’m sad for them, their victims, and our American society that turns them out by the millions.
@@Pimpmedown. I do get what you are saying. It doesn’t get talked about enough. The sad fact is that some drunk drivers get punished for accidents that are not their fault; they just happened to be drunk. Here in Seattle a couple of months ago, three people were killed one night when an idiot abandon the car he stole in the middle of the freeway when he ran out of gas. He didn’t put the hazards on, just turned the car off, the lights off, and left it there in the rain. He fled and wasn’t found. A family smashed into the car at full speed, creating a cascade of accidents. The last car involved was sideswiped by a car that veered clear of the wreckage. The sideswiped driver pulled over to assist the injured and throw out flares. Turned out that driver was slightly drunk. The officer noticed as the guy was providing his witness account. He was arrested. The only one charged out of the whole deadly 8-car pile-up was the drunk driver who hit no one, nor caused anyone else to crash, and stopped to assist. The justice of that escapes me.
@@Pimpmedown This is an excerpt from another article stating she hit two pedestrians: Former Bradley student Stephanie Melgoza was sentenced to 14 years in prison on Thursday as the result of striking and killing a couple from Lorain County in April 2022 as they crossed the street outside a bar in East Peoria.
Most people don't care about the lives of strangers. I actually respect the woman in the video more for not putting on an act, and pretending to care like most people do. You for example will probably forget about this video after you go home and watch football.
She was 24. She'll be 38 when she gets out. She's drunk, young, and arrogant. 14 years is a long time. The best years of her life will be taken from her. At almost 40, she'll be a completely different person. I'm sure the judge has a better grasp on the situation than we do.
@@spike178 30% of women and 20% of men, as a very rough (so rough basically completely wrong) anecdotal estimate from what I've seen in people around me.
That’s how some people act when they’re drunk af. In fact in the beginning she was actually better than a lot of drunk drivers by calling 911 and admitting some fault. A lot of drunks hit and run and then deny everything. I’m surprised she admitting to drinking 3 vodka drinks
@@RaveN_EDM "That’s how some people act when they’re drunk af" No, it is not. You are clearly not talking from a position of experience. Stop spreading nonsense.
@@RaveN_EDM She also said she will have some "long" drinks, which means a Long Island iced tea with MORE than just vodka in them. And, I believe she's on something else including the alcohol.😵💫
What was the evidence to that point that she “killed two people”? The officer keeps lying and saying that like he already knows 100% of the facts and circumstances of the incident. That was unprofessional and coercive, and why people don’t trust police.
@@willpomeroy7711 I think most people who don't trust the system, don't trust it because there are teenagers doing 10 years for stealing a jacket, and people who get shot by police while unarmed in their own beds. not because the officer told this drunk in the smashed car that he was 100% sure she hit the two people nearby who looked like they'd been hit by a car, who she casually admitted to hitting, when the truth was he was perhaps only 99.9% sure. But to be fair even the drunk and mentally compromised have rights and how drunk/psychotic a person must be before they can't be assumed to be cognizant enough to wave their 5th Amendment rights is the subject of a number of Supreme Court cases.
Indeed. Whats really crazy is there are some people here attacking the cop and calling him "unprofessional," because why, he explained the situation to her using English? This girl was unbelievable and that cop was incredibly restrained and professional. Far more than any of his critics would have been in the same situation.
I have a few friends like this. Unfortunately, some people seem fully conscious but are in a blackout state where they do not remember a single thing or even comprehend what's happening or being said. I'm surprised the officer at the hospital didn't realize that, he was talking to her as if she understood the situation or what was being said to her.
This is what I never understand. Like alcohol impairs decision making. But people say that she should have just taken an Uber or Lyft…like how does that make sense.
I can’t believe how calm this detective is. He should be awarded for being so good at his job. God bless him and God bless the families who lost their family members.
If I’m gonna be honest, this is one of the most cooperative people while drunk I’ve seen it’s just sad that she didn’t know the severity of the situation
Why would you respect him... He denied what makes him human!! He's a punk aaassss citch like everyone that respects him... Respect for him would only come from him disembolwing her with a wooden cooking spoon!!!
3 years ago my 17yr old daughter and her friend were hit head on by a drunk driver. My daughter spent 9 weeks in the hospital and is left permanently disabled; her friend was killed on impact. 99 days after the crash, the drunk and his girlfriend were making facebook posts about driving around doing errands, with “a couple of bar stops in between”. The absolute ignorance and lack of empathy for others is astounding. Brandon kern is now serving 19 years in prison. Please drive sober!
She didn't only kill them, she hit them at such a high rate of speed that the responding officers and EMS had to collect their limbs from across the roadway.
The lack of remorse is stunning. There are no words. When told she’s killed two people her response is “But can I get Tuesday for night school? The officer repeats what he’s said and she responds similarly. Whatever she drank, this is psychopathic behaviour. (Not to be pedantic, and perhaps it’s my math, but at 2.6 she is more than 3x the legal limit of 0.8, not twice)
This is sickening. I've seen a lot of faces in my law enforcement career (some who have done similar crimes) and I have never seen someone so uncaring about killing two people this way.
Yeah, she doesn't seem the mean type. A lot many people who are far worse are roaming around free. Sad that a life was destroyed even before it was allowed to blossom. @@mr.anderson6040
@@mr.anderson6040are you saying it was ok for her to do that and act the way she did, then? Lmaooo there’s 0 point you’re making here other than the fact that you’re on her side, smfh people are craaazy 🙄🙄
She called the cops. A ton of people just run away and hide. She just thought she was going to be left of the hook cause in her mind it was an accident.
Not really. She is hammered out of her mind here, did you fail to understand that when they read what she tested at? IF tomorrow she wakes up and acts the same then sure. But as it is I doubt she even knows who she is talking to. What is sad and pathetic is this comment.
@@sunnohhthe car society isn't a problem, the laws are. Apply some third world country laws to the west and you'll see how quickly drunk driving lowers
@frostnoobgames people can get life in prison and still not give a fuck. Has nothing to do with the punishment. You could tell this chick in the video she'll get life in prison and it still won't register. Many middle eastern countries give life in prison or death sentences over some weak ass weed. People still smuggle that shit in.
Alcohol ruins so many lives i pray that people who watch this or are having these issues can remember what can happen to others and not just alcohol but looking at your phone too
She admitted that she didn’t even bother to try to help the victims at the scene but let other bystanders “deal with the situation.” This woman is a MONSTER.
Probably just a psychopath or more likely a conditioned sociopath which both are, by nature narcissistic about themselves and callous about other people, like many of our politicians and CEOs are by nature. ie herself and her type are above responsibility due to her assumed superiority in the pecking order of life. I doubt she would be a monster in normal terms of reference, ie I doubt she would turn up with a gun or knife and deliberately butcher someone. She obviously sees the world only from where she is sitting, far more so than normal people. This is common in India where the higher casts look down on the lower castes as if they were fly's or vermin, ie they will run them over by accident (arrogant and careless driving) then complain about the dent in the car. The second she is put in prison, she will sh*t herself and then perhaps put 2 and 2 together.
To be fair, it's probably a good thing she let the bystanders deal with it. She was too drunk to even comprehend the situation, I don't think she would have been any help at all, best to let the sober people handle the emergency.
I think she was using denial as a coping mechanism. The way it was all over the top for me proves it. She's trying to deny what happened. And she clearly DID deny what happened. Because a part of her is actually in shock. She's trying to suffocate the emotions and logic because she's afraid
@@ivanivkovicmusicthat's my take on it too. Pure denial "Daddy will fix this problem for me", kinda energy. Not even one chink in the armour, though. Not a single sharp intake of breath or stifled cry.
She doesn't appear to be that intoxicated. The officer waited for more vodka to absorb into her system. After further review, she's hammered. It appears that she has been drinking for years.
I attended Bradley, and it is a very good school. I want to offer condolences to the innocent people that lost loved ones by this horrible accident. Their grief compounded by the attitude of this girl.
Clinical diagnosis of psychopath needs to rule out things like say, near anesthetic levels of intoxication. Anything above a .2 is either SEVERE alcohol dependence problems, or near passing out, or both. She was clearly so intoxicated she wasn't super aware of anything. I suspect she was already a full blown booze addict tbh.
"I'm just wondering when I can go to school...." sums it all up. As a recovered alcoholic I can promise you this is not the fault of alcohol. Her character is simply being magnified by the drinks.
Not the alcohol? So somebody held a gun to her head and forced her to drink right? Perhaps you should have been her lawyer and told the judge, " Your honor this girl is innocent. As an alcoholic myself I can tell you from first hand experience the culprit here is Mr. Vodka." "Birds of a feather stick together."
@lowspender147 I'll try and explain this. What OP is saying that her callousness apparent lack of remorse or even concern about the severed leg in the grill of her car is all about Stephanie. Not the alcohol. The alcohol isn't making her not care, it's the fact that she is a narcissistic person with a few other underlying issues that is making her laugh and sing and dance as officers are performing CPR.
In the spring of 2009 a woman was driving southbound on Gratiot Ave in Roseville, Michigan at about 90 mph. She jumped the curb and plowed into a car with four teenagers waiting in the turnaround. Three were killed on scene. The fourth was taken to the hospital where my brother worked as an ICU nurse. He told they had Levophed running wide open. The kid died. My step brother whom went to school with these kids knew all of them. The woman got four life sentences. Why didn't this girl?
@@karlmarx6487 Some people just don't understand the consequences. This woman got four life sentences. I was at a Blockbuster video store 3 miles away when it happened.
@@clintoruss153 Yes. Levophed is the brand name for norepinephrine bitartrate. A very powerful vasoconstrictor used to treat low blood pressure. Running wide open means the IV is not flowing at a rate set through a pump. It is flowing unrestricted. If it gets to that point, then it's a last ditch effort to save someone's life. The kid was bleeding internally. They were doing all they could to keep his pressure up.
the way she's eager to spend $500 in Vegas but can't spend money on an Uber to take her home safely and prevent the possibility of a DUI when she KNOWS she's wasted is wild to me.
@@FreyaTait then she could have asked them if they’re close enough that she can ask them for money for a trip. My parents don’t really want me to go out and drink either, but they’ve always been very clear that they can pick me up or I can take an Uber home. I understand everyone’s financial situation is different but I’m sure her parents would have much rather picked her up than this.
Because mommy and daddy will take care of everything so she doesn’t have to care about pesky laws. She also goes to Bradley didn’t you hear? Uber rides are so beneath her.
It's astonishing how little she cares about the horrific thing she did. It can't just be the alcohol: there must be something seriously wrong with this woman's brain.
never really being punished before or at least held accountable for her action, no real consequences in her past. entitlement. affluenza... The usual suspects.
It seems to me the person was very drunk. More than 3 times the legal limit. Obviously she had to, but it looks like at the first opportunity she admitted the crime. If you can be so drunk you didn't see someone who you killed, then how could you take in the information until you're sober and see the facts? She saw her car was written off but didn't know it was written off and wanted to drive it around. How drunk do you have to be to do that?
I know a guy who killed someone impulsively after a drug deal went bad. He was 18 years old and got 25 years for taking 1 life, in what could be seen as self defense. She got off wayyyy to easy for driving drunk, taking 2 lives, AND showing no remorse. I suspect it may have something to do with her being an attractive female. Sad world
We are seeing these same situations over and over. It is disgusting and unacceptable. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. They are the victims not this entitled girl. They need to have stiffer sentences for those responsible for these horrible crimes. Thank you to the officers and prosecutors that have to fight the fight everyday to get justice for these victims.

That cop stayed so calm and professional on behalf of her victims. He did that for them. If he'd have lost his temper he may have given her lawyers something to grab hold of and get her off. Massive salute to that cop for doing that. Oh, and I also agree, 14 years is nowhere near enough.
I feel like she went into shock, couldn't handle the situation and her brain just went on autopilot. That was one of the most patient cops I have ever witnessed, damn!
I'm just speechless at how she is reacting to this whole situation, even though she is drunk...she is completely not empathetic to the fact that people died because of her actions.
She didnt believe she did it. Alcohol makes it really hard to use your inner voice. Reading a book or using your super ego become difficult. its dark and shes drunk. Show me how she acts sober before condemning her. There was a prohibition for a reason. Ill bet she wasnt driving around drinking. She got shitfaced, alcohol(which is legal, makes you lose judgement.) So the voice that says dont drive gets silenced. She didnt have a record. This wasnt a pattern. If she acts like this sober than yes she's bad but otherwise I would at least not have shared her arrest footage.
someone could argue that because of the alcohol she was completely out of it and so she didn't feel remorse at the moment, but when she asked about her car and going to school the next day proves she wasn't completely blackout drunk, she knew exactly what's going on but ignored it comparing them to her entitled life style because she thought she could get away with no consequences. my favorite quotes from this psychopath: "i go to bradley, why would this happen to me?" "i am going to vegas and at least gonna spend $500 completely drinking"

A good example of a sociopath would be trump, never admits to his mistakes & always blames other people.
That sentence alone is "THE" pivotal part in which the judge should have considered all the options. When this poor excuse of a human gets out I truly hope she has no chance of driving ever again. Her actions are truly staggering, it's as if she had just wiped out the lives of two cats.
@@mr.malice5752 as human beings I actually wonder if people think we all live in a simulation.....erase and start again. A car is classified as a lethal weapon as far as deemed necessary for the difference between a crime being a misdemeanor or a felony. In her case, 14 years was too short for what is effectively 2 counts of aggravated felony manslaughter.
“Our daughter did a horrible thing and will pay for it for the next 14 years of her life. The rest of my family did nothing,” O’Brian said. That's for sure, if you had raised your daughter right this never would have happened.
This is why I think it's really important for a judge to see how remorseful a defendant is before sentencing and to factor that into the sentence. Can you imagine being a close relative to one of the people killed and watching this thing getting upset that she wont be able to go to school tomorrow?
@@kbforme Really depends on person what it does. I personally don't change almost at all. My grandfather becomes extremely emotional. Some get angry. Some like they are out of this world. Etc. On some people it might as well do what you say, but it is a fact that alcohol is poison to brains so brains do not work as well as they should. That's why it's illegal to drive.
@@FoxyGuyHere I agree. To play devil's advocate here (and I really dislike doing so), she could be in a state of shock and in total denial. Considering the atrocity of the crime scene (severed limbs), most people in their right mind wouldn't accept what they just did (think the movie Hereditary's crime scene, a car accident that did really happen irl). It could be that or she could be medically psychopath that really have zero empathy, but even a drunk psychopath would understand it's wrong what they did and try to save face. She's not.
It’s a tragedy their lives were only worth 7 years each. I really hate this girl, I don’t say that often. Absolutely disgusting, hope she is never happy.
Not even that. She got 14 years and she has to serve only 11.5 years of that to be eligible for parole with 4 months of home confinement going toward that sentence so she really only has to serve about 11 years and 3 months. Being rich and having a good lawyer really lets you get away with a lot.

I've worked car insurance claims for several years. It's a very eye opening experience to know just how many people out there are this clueless. You start driving assuming that literally everyone else on the road has no idea what's going on in their immediate vicinity.
My heart goes out to the two souls who lost their lives and their families. If you want to drink, stay home and wake up with a hangover on your couch or bed. No need to harm anyone 😢
You can go out and have a drink or 2. You can be responsible and have a nice time. Just cause some people don't believe in responsibility doesn't mean the rest of shouldn't go out.
Drugs and alcohol have always been able to dissolve our social fences. The façades we put up for everyone to see tend to crumble in their wake. What I can’t accept is the pure selfishness that is on display. Did her parents just leave her in front of video games throughout all her child hood ? Does she think hitting the rest button fix everything . The laughter alone was worth 20 years. The Justice system places very little time on a human life! 🤬
I quit drinking when I was 22 years old ,decades ago...Thing is I would plan not to drive but after drinking and blacked out twice I drove home after planning to stay at a friends place,I had no intention of driving yet I did.. I am very, very lucky I never killed or hurt anyone I couldn't live the rest of my life knowing that! I was very confused on why I drove had no memory of it.. I am over 6 feet tall and after 4 beers I blacked out!! We tested myself and after 4 beers I had no memory. I had sober people watching me and the next day I had no idea what happened after only 4 beers! So I quit and never drank since the early 1990's,I wish I never started!! From 20-22 years old I drank on weekends never during the week usually Friday night only..low tolerance for sure! I am so lucky I quit because something like this could have happened to me!!! I started driving in the last 8 months of drinking did that 2 times total..First time I thought maybe some sort of fluke and wont happen again but it did.. the last time I was very upset at myself I quit 100% never touched it since and don't miss it! Being sober at parties etc It was sort of funny watching the drunk people I knew, then very, very, very annoying watching them when I never drank,so I moved on... Some people probably are like I was with zero intentions of driving then others drive to the bar/club and get hammered with intentions of driving, that's different but if you kill someone the end result is same.Alcohol is very dangerous it ruins many lives! Ditto with drugs!
Holy christ. That cop actually did a very good job, he remained calm and professional, even when voicing his personal feelings on the matter to her. I don't think I woulda been able to do it.
The fact that she said she understand she killed 2 people but still asks if she can go to school blows my mind. Zero concern for life she better spend quite a bit of time locked up.
To all you clueless people looking for easy answers. Her behavior is a result of shock. The policeman reacts as he does due to a lack of knowledge. Police officers in the USA have far too little education, and therefore cannot handle such situations. It is horrible what she has done, but the behavior is not due to what many here are inclined to believe.
Former paramedic here. HATE drunk drivers. And one of the reaons I hate them is because even after they sober up, they still can't process the gravity of their actions, and blame the system. They don't rehabilitate, and our courts are way too lenient. Can't tell you how many times I've dealt with someone on their 3rd and 4th offense.
4th offense? How?? At least in my State, after the 3rd offense, your driver's license is permanently taken away. After the 2nd offense, your vehicle is required to have a breathalyzer. 4th offense is crazy...
Thank you for the service you gave during your EMT employment. Alcoholics Anonymous is the only group that tells people the numbers who have been killed while driving Impaired. @@Jay-rn3de, just because someone's driver's license is permanently taken away, doesn't mean they'll never drive again. These sociopaths don't give a fuck about the laws!
its hard to take responsibility for something you don't remember doing. Everyone here wants to pretend shes a monster, but the monster is alcohol. Nobody is above blacking out. Nobody drinks and stays 100% responsible. and everyone here that thinks otherwise is just a ticking time bomb waiting to kill people just like this girl.
Some do rehabilitate, and many people who never get caught when they're young and stupid change their behavior when they get older. A good many don't unfortunately, and there are those serial offenders (many of whom make excuses to themselves about it being okay, and primarily due it out of convenience and practicality given that they often have an alcohol dependence issue)
As a recovering alcoholic who regretfully and shamefully has 2 DUIs... I found this extremely difficult to watch. When the policeman informed her she had just killed two people my heart dropped into my gut as if I was the driver. I thank God that although I have made many many mistakes in my addiction... it never came to that... Everyone is hurting in this world in one way or another... we all cope with this life in different ways but there is never any excuse for putting other people's lives in danger in such a selfish and reckless manner. And although she was obviously still very drunk her behavior in the aftermath was shameful. I hope she wasn't this clueless when she sobered up. I'm a firm believer that we all have a God shaped hole in our hearts that only Jesus can fill... We try to fill that hole with drugs, alcohol, money, sex, power, possessions... many different things... but no matter how hard we try... nothing can fill that hole except God and the attempt to fill it with anything else only leads to more emptiness, pain, and ultimately death. But the answers are out there if we seek them. God bless you all and remember John 3:16 is the key to everything.
What if a frat boy slipped X into one of the two drinks she had at the bar? She thinks she has had two drinks in two hours and should be fine to drive, but when she gets in her car, the X hits her. We don't know what happened. Lots of girls go to clubs and wake up in an unfamiliar place with a pile of condom wrappers stuck to them. With drugs, anything can happen. I'd hate to be a young woman with all the drugs out there today.
My family is also the victim of a callous drunk driver who was already on his 3rd DUI. Society really needs to wake up to the horrendous crime this really is. My heart/prayers go out to the family of this crime. I also feel for the family of the driver who has to live with the actions of this woman...
Society woke up many years ago, but then was put back to sleep. Remember MADD? Very stiff fines and jail sentences were issued. But then, the elites, judges, and politicians realized that their own children were going to prison too, so they lessened the laws. Almost all of them are liars, thieves, and crooks.
Drinking or not, a car got in front of her, same would have happened if she was sober. The multiple times the amount of dumb drivers who get in the middle of my lane are outstanding. The reason all my cars have dashcams. In fact, I just almost ran over a child who jumped into my car while he was crossing the street without looking. What difference does it make if I am drunk or not? Same lane, same vehicle... what if it is weed, pills or sober, so if I am sober who is at fault? and if I am intoxicated? I do not drink alcohol, 420 or pills, nothing.
Sometimes, I’m amazed by a cop’s restraint. This girl isn’t just drunk, she’s stupid. It gives insight into how easy it is to get a college degree, if mom & dad can pay the tuition.
I just finished a finance degree at 33. I’m appalled at the education system. U can fail and resit upto 3x then after that u can pay for another resit. Then ur main exam if u don’t like ur result u can do a resit so u have what u need.
At 1:22 in the video, there is a blurred image on the left side of her car. It was blurred because it was the leg of the male victim in the crash, stuck on the front end of her car. She killed two people that night, yet at the hospital she’s singing, talking about her upcoming trip to Las Vegas after graduation, says first thing she’ll do in LV is order two Long Island iced teas. What a lost cause.
That woman is pure evil. That officer had super-human patients with her. Shame on the DA and Judge that went along with that slap-on-the-wrist prison sentence. Pathetic how much our legal system treats drunk driving like a joke.
I think that's more of your personal problem (projecting, aren't you?). She's been sentenced to 14 years, whether you think it was enough or not is a completely different story, so yes, she's been held accountable for her actions and you're likely talking about you, not this.
It shocks me that reckless DUI homicide only gave her 14 years, should have been 30 at least. The fact that the court deemed each casualty to be worth 7 years is disgusting.
I don't how, but she's either in complete denial or emotionally detached from the reality of her situation. My condolences to the families of the deceased.
I agree, after hearing 14 years that's definitely to light of a sentence, she absolutely cared nothing about the two lives she took, shocking, police officer sure handled it with patience, I don't think I could have been so cordial
Not sure if it would matter in a case like this but my guess is that even though she was drunk maybe the other driver was the one who committed the traffic violation that led to the accident? Either that or she had a very good lawyer but yeah 14 years seem like a low sentece.
That cop showed the highest level of professionalism. Mad props to him for not losing his composure, staying calm and setting his emotions aside. Her behaviour being sad, pathetic, horrible and maybe also a bit frightening at the same time is objectively true by all social conventions, cultaral and ethical norms.
I’ve seen this at least 5 x But feel baffled and confused everytime I watch it The worse part is her sentence not nearly enough consequences Justice system failed on this one
@@jodiforeman3314 It's not like the penalty is over after the prison sentence has ended. The consequences will affect her for the rest of her life. She won't be able to make her degree/graduate, didn't learn a job, doesn't own anything, won't have any friends by the time she gets out, and will (thankfully) be nearly too old to bear children. Her family may repudiate her. No more party hard lifestyle either. Good luck finding employment with a 2x DUI reckless homicide in your resume and videos documenting her disturbing carelessness being easily available on the internet for all eternity. This may sound strange to an American, but the intention behind prison sentences is not meant to be rooted in an "eye for an eye" mentality. When thinking about all these after effects, her sentence doesn't seem that small anymore. It's also unlikely that she'll do such a thing again - even psychopaths do not like being locked up for a decade and a half…
Her father is angry with people's response to his daughters laughing after killing 2 people. Wow, not too difficult to see how his daughter takes her behavior so lightly. Congratulations to her father- great job of teaching responsibility to your off-spring. She was 3 times over the legal limit- good parenting- you have all the right in the world to be upset with others.
I read that...she doesn't care about what happened or who she killed. She only cares that she got caught and actually has to face consequences, probably for the first time in her life.
FUN FACT: She was NOT "two times over the legal limit", blowing a 0.264 makes her MORE THAN 3 TIMES OVER the legal limit. Girl was HAMMERED and has no idea she just killed two people!
The frightening thing is: this is imaginable. Imagine: you are young and reckless, make a few stupid decisions (drinking too much, driving anyway), and suddenly you have killed two people. To me, this is a warning, how easily you can do something terrible and irreparable. Her reaction was heartless and detached from reality, but how would I react? I hope I will never find out.
We (EMS) responded to a wrong way driver that struck two vehicles. Driver was 22, drunk as hell. Completely oblivious to what she had done. Fortunately, the people survived with minor injuries but could have been so much worse. I remembered and thought about this video when I got that call.
And there will be a judge out there that just because the drunk driver is a woman, he/she will completely throw justice out of the window to show mercy to the killer because of her gender.

But the dude should def. have just not said anything after saying that the conversation is over, or at the very least, said it before saying the conversation is over.

Doesn't that makes it alcohol is the cause as well? Certainly there is a reason why driving under influence is prohibited
Not the alcohol? So somebody held a gun to her head and forced her to drink right?
Perhaps you should have been her lawyer and told the judge, " Your honor this girl is innocent. As an alcoholic myself I can tell you from first hand experience the culprit here is Mr. Vodka."
"Birds of a feather stick together."
@@JoseContreras-fy7lbthe hell you on about 😂😂
@lowspender147 I'll try and explain this.

Your point?

Levophed running wide open??? Is that English

She was planning to spend $500 of her parents' money.
@@FreyaTait then she could have asked them if they’re close enough that she can ask them for money for a trip. Obviously she had to, but it looks like at the first opportunity she admitted the crime.

She saw her car was written off but didn't know it was written off and wanted to drive it around. How drunk do you have to be to do that?
I know a guy who killed someone impulsively after a drug deal went bad. He was 18 years old and got 25 years for taking 1 life, in what could be seen as self defense.

The Rotten Apple 🍏 🍎 Does not Fall Far From The Tree. Her Father is probably a Borracho as Well. 🍻🥃
Never forget - every time YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONES drive, there are people on the road with you like her.
And there will be a judge out there that just because the drunk driver is a woman, he/she will completely throw justice out of the window to show mercy to the killer because of her gender.
Mad props to the cop. I would’ve not been able to keep my composure as well as he did.
If he touched her, it would shave time off her sentence...He made sure she didn't get away with it...
@@brentfarvors192 Well with 14 years she pretty much got away very good.... sadly
@@nureintimo6480 We cant afford to keep them in...Legislatires demanded mandatory minimums, and removed the death penalty in most states; Courts abided by those minimums; Jails are too overcrowded, and exceed their DOC budgets every year...FLA especially...
So what are proposing ? You might of attacked her? Or you wouldn't have blamed the cop for hitting her?
I agree so true
Love your vids
