Swiss Walk - Panorama Hotel Schönbühl to Lake Thun & along Staattstrasse, Hilterfingen, Switzerland

A downhill walk begins at Panorama Hotel Schönbühl in Hilterfingen, a town just outside of Thun, Switzerland. The downhill walk comes out on Staattstrasse in Hilterfingen, near the shore of the Thunersee (Lake Thun). The walk then progresses southeast along Staattstrasse through Hilterfingen. The setting is serene and incredibly beautiful. The area around and town of Thun are a hidden treasure of Switzerland to most tourists. It is a sophisticated and funky, eclectic and interesting, as well as funky and family-friendly. It is our favorite place to visit in Switzerland to enjoy pleasant public spaces, beautiful strolls among breathtaking scenery, and tasty foods and drinks.
