CBC Contest Winners with original song performed LIVE in one take, no lipsync for these guys. The television crew were so grateful not to be cueing up a pre-recorded studio backing track they even decided they would add some dry-ice billowing up from the stage. The network cut out a full verse, but left in the great solo. The drummer and I worked out some great Santana-ish Latin Rhythm section magic under a new-age presentation. Guess which singer was a video-jockey at NewMusic?
