Dimash came to the American view with the Chinese competition “I am Singer” on Chinese tv. He was invited to do 2 episodes. Dimash was the first person to sing on the show and he sang “S.O.S.” Not the version you just saw but a different one. The one you just saw was at another venue and later on. After Dimash sang, he developed such a huge fan base that the next day they had to get him some bodyguards. Dimash was the only amateur in the group of professionals, he was the youngest, and the only non- Chinese singer. He was 22 years old in 2017. They called him their “younger foreign brother”. The competition took 4 months. At the end Dimash won second place in the competition. The night he did “S.O.S.”, he won that night. After the competition he stayed in China for almost 3 years. In the meantime China released videos from the show. I just happen to find Dimash in my CZcams feed because of the music I listen to. I loved him from the start! He is now 29 years old. He’s come to the states to perform with a composer who was on tour with the people who sang his songs in November, 2019. Dimash came back in December to do a solo concert at Barclay Center in Brooklyn, New York in December, 2019. The show sold out! Fans from 57 countries came to see him perform! That is the only concert he’s had here. He was on the tv show called, “The World’s Best”. He asked before he signed up for the show would he be competing against any children and they said, “No”! Unfortunately, the three finalist were Dimash and a 12 year girl and a 14 year old boy! Dimash step down from the competition because in his country adults do not compete with children. He walked away from 1 million dollars! Dimash is not just your average singer, he’s been classically trained since the age of 5, he has perfect pitch, he has a masters degree in music and was going to work on his doctorate but COVID hit, he plays several instruments, he sings in several octaves, he sings in several languages. Wherever Dimash has a concert he tries to learn a few words in the language of the people and he learns a song of the country. He speaks Kazakh, Russian and he’s been learning English! He’s getting better and better at it. I’m sure he understands more than he can speak because English is a difficult language to learn to speak. After graduating from school, Dimash was offered a place at the local opera house and Dimash declined the position. He wants to sing what he calls neo-classical music. Some of his idols are Luciano Pavarotti, Celine Dion, and he loves Michael Jackson. He found Michael as a little boy and I’m sure he sang his songs and practiced some of his mannerisms. and moves. They have been a great duo. His name is Igor Krutoy! Dimash also has produced, written, and directed music videos of some of his music. With all of this Dimash is a young man who hates war, he’s kind, he’s stubborn when it comes to his music and his the most modest singer you will ever meet. To him the most important thing is when his fans in the audience has taken time to learn his songs that he sings in Kazakh and they sing them back at him at the concerts. He loves it! I think the reason no big music company has pick him up is he is stubborn when it comes to his music and most music companies want to put you in a box to sing only one kind of music and Dimash isn’t going to do that. Yes, we are Dears! He says it's because we are very dear to him & like his family. He has been performing all his life. He went viral in 2017 when he took part in a Chinese show called I Am Singer which was for already established Chinese singers & Dimash was invited on as a wild card. SOS was his first song & he was the first performer on stage. He was 22 at the time & the only non-Chinese singer & the youngest participant. By the following morning his performance had gone viral & he was told he would need security! He was expected to last just a few weeks on the show but stayed for the whole series. He ended up stayed in China for about 3 years & did numerous concerts, TV appearances & took part in a reality show called Super Shine Brothers, again the only non Chinese participant. He also had recorded an album that went triple platinum within minutes of going on sale! He sings in 24 different languages, including English, and has a 7.2 octave range to his voice. He sings all genres of music from Opera to pop, rock, folk, neo-classic & he even raps!!! He does all of that to perfection! Yes, I'm a Dear and I recently saw 2 live concerts (my first) in Armenia & Turkey & he was just amazing!!! A senior lady who lives in my small rural community in a remote corner of the Pacific Northwest has made the challenging trip twice to see Dimash in person---once in Prague and once in Turkey. She tells me that his voice is even more powerful and commanding in person than on video. My story is probably unique (compared to most Dears) on how Dimash entered my life: I first learned of Dimash while watching the Super Bowl on TV in 2019 🏈📺😅 Right after the game, CBS debuted a talent show called “The World’s Best” and presented Dimash as “The Six-Octave Man” 🤯 he sang SOS in the audition round 🔥and I became an instant fan 😍 However, the producers broke their promise by pitting Dimash against 2 kids in the semi-final round, so Dimash respectfully withdrew from the competition to allow the kids to move forward 🥹 (bc his culture does not compete against children, which he made clear before signing on to the show) and that’s when I became a Dear 😭❤🥰 Seeing Dimash live in New York 2019 was the best concert of my life! 🤩 I really hope Dimash announces his next US 🇺🇸 concert this year 🙏 we might see you there 😁 Aloha 🌺 from Hawaii 🏝️

Those are exactly the same two concerts a lady from my small town in the northwest corner of the US attended. It took a lot of effort for a senior lady to make those trips alone, but she is such a devoted Dear that she was not going to be denied! She has told me that his voice is even more resounding in person than on video, and she doesn't regret one bit the challenges it took for her to get to those concerts. My mother was always finding wierd things on the net and sending me links. I usually watched the first minute (just so I could say I saw it) then deleted the video. She sent SOS/2017 The Singer. It was on a Friday, November 2018. Within seconds I was transfixed unable to look away. I still remember when young Dimash reached his famous "Avengers Assemble" move, I remember deep inside a little voice going " help" but obviously I survived the onslot of sound and power. I then spend all weekend rewatching this song, looking for more and watching Dimash reactors without sleep for days. When I went back to work on Monday, I could not stop talking about him and wanted to show everyone. Nobody was really that interested. I felt like I was working among aliens.😱👽😱 It took about 3 years before I could listen to other music because it all sounded off. He is now collaborating with Canadian composer, musician, arranger, and music exec., David Foster, who is amazing in his own right, in LA. Dimash has been studying music full time since age 5, and he spent his youth winning many competitions which gained him notoriety in Kazakhstan. His real breakout came in 2017 when he was invited to compete as a wild card on the fifth season of the Chinese singing competition show, "Singer". This was a fancam, I believe during a Kazak event in LA, 2017. There was an orchestra behind him, but they weren't accompanying him. When Dimash started singing, the musicians behind couldn't believe their ears! It was quite funny, but mostly shocking. After that, I couldn't get enough...This was in October 2021. A week after discovering Dimash, I had a ticket for his last Arnau concert in Prague, April 2022. I had to see and hear him live. The concert was surreal, more than 2:30 hours and 24 songs that flew so quickly that it seemed like a dream. Undoubtedly, the best concert of my life! Dimash was well known in his homeland. Competitions and events were a normal part of life.. Being invited on to the Singer show which he opened with SOS was how he gained worldwide attention.. In late 2017 I came across Dimash on CZcams. At his concert in 2018 SOS was dedicated to his friend Denis.. SOS was given even more emotion for the death of his young friend.. When Dimash started Autumn Strong, by vocalising, I stopped breathing & it was heavenly.. That performance changed my heart by filling it with Hope & Peace..

I started watching reactions because of Ren. I'm a metalhead obsessed with Ren but as a musician whose dad is an amazing vocalist, this guy. Dimash came to the American view with the Chinese competition “I am Singer” on Chinese tv. He was invited to do 2 episodes. Dimash was the first person to sing on the show and he sang “S.O.S.” Not the version you just saw but a different one. The one you just saw was at another venue and later on. After Dimash sang, he developed such a huge fan base that the next day they had to get him some bodyguards. Dimash was the only amateur in the group of professionals, he was the youngest, and the only non- Chinese singer. He was 22 years old in 2017. They called him their “younger foreign brother”. The competition took 4 months. At the end Dimash won second place in the competition. The night he did “S.O.S.”, he won that night. After the competition he stayed in China for almost 3 years. In the meantime China released videos from the show. I just happen to find Dimash in my CZcams feed because of the music I listen to. I loved him from the start! He is now 29 years old. He’s come to the states to perform with a composer who was on tour with the people who sang his songs in November, 2019. Dimash came back in December to do a solo concert at Barclay Center in Brooklyn, New York in December, 2019. The show sold out! Fans from 57 countries came to see him perform! That is the only concert he’s had here. He was on the tv show called, “The World’s Best”. He asked before he signed up for the show would he be competing against any children and they said, “No”! Unfortunately, the three finalist were Dimash and a 12 year girl and a 14 year old boy! Dimash step down from the competition because in his country adults do not compete with children. He walked away from 1 million dollars! Dimash is not just your average singer, he’s been classically trained since the age of 5, he has perfect pitch, he has a masters degree in music and was going to work on his doctorate but COVID hit, he plays several instruments, he sings in several octaves, he sings in several languages. Wherever Dimash has a concert he tries to learn a few words in the language of the people and he learns a song of the country. He speaks Kazakh, Russian and he’s been learning English! He’s getting better and better at it. I’m sure he understands more than he can speak because English is a difficult language to learn to speak. After graduating from school, Dimash was offered a place at the local opera house and Dimash declined the position. He wants to sing what he calls neo-classical music. Some of his idols are Luciano Pavarotti, Celine Dion, and he loves Michael Jackson. He found Michael as a little boy and I’m sure he sang his songs and practiced some of his mannerisms. and moves. With all of this Dimash is a young man who hates war, he’s kind, he’s stubborn when it comes to his music and his the most modest singer you will ever meet. To him the most important thing is when his fans in the audience has taken time to learn his songs that he sings in Kazakh and they sing them back at him at the concerts. He loves it! I think the reason no big music company has pick him up is he is stubborn when it comes to his music and most music companies want to put you in a box to sing only one kind of music and Dimash isn’t going to do that. He loves the folk songs of his country, he loves the kind of songs Celine sings and every now and then he will do one with a beat. Yes, we are Dears! He says it's because we are very dear to him & like his family.
He has been performing all his life. He went viral in 2017 when he took part in a Chinese show called I Am Singer which was for already established Chinese singers & Dimash was invited on as a wild card. SOS was his first song & he was the first performer on stage. He was 22 at the time & the only non-Chinese singer & the youngest participant. By the following morning his performance had gone viral & he was told he would need security! He was expected to last just a few weeks on the show but stayed for the whole series. He ended up stayed in China for about 3 years & did numerous concerts, TV appearances & took part in a reality show called Super Shine Brothers, again the only non Chinese participant. He also had recorded an album that went triple platinum within minutes of going on sale!
He sings in 24 different languages, including English, and has a 7.2 octave range to his voice. He sings all genres of music from Opera to pop, rock, folk, neo-classic & he even raps!!! He does all of that to perfection! Yes, I'm a Dear and I recently saw 2 live concerts (my first) in Armenia & Turkey & he was just amazing!!! A senior lady who lives in my small rural community in a remote corner of the Pacific Northwest has made the challenging trip twice to see Dimash in person---once in Prague and once in Turkey. She tells me that his voice is even more powerful and commanding in person than on video. I understand that his live concerts sell out and routinely draw fans (Dears) from 60-70 countries, no matter where they take place. There is only one item on my bucket list: see Dimash live.

He sings exquisitely, but more importantly, you feel it in your heart, your soul and your bones. In addition, he is the most humble and kind person, always advocating for unity and peace. He is unique. And yes, I have seen him live, 3 times now (Prague, Almaty/Kazachstan and Yerevan/Armenia). The impact from seeing and hearing him live is indescribable and much more intense than the already intense YT experience. It usually takes me a couple of weeks to “land” again. The way he expresses the music through his physicality and truly embodies what he is singing is second to none. There is literally no one on the planet who can do what he does as well as he does it. My story is probably unique (compared to most Dears) on how Dimash entered my life: I first learned of Dimash while watching the Super Bowl on TV in 2019 🏈📺😅
Right after the game, CBS debuted a talent show called “The World’s Best” and presented Dimash as “The Six-Octave Man” 🤯 he sang SOS in the audition round 🔥and I became an instant fan 😍 However, the producers broke their promise by pitting Dimash against 2 kids in the semi-final round, so Dimash respectfully withdrew from the competition to allow the kids to move forward 🥹 (bc his culture does not compete against children, which he made clear before signing on to the show) and that’s when I became a Dear 😭❤🥰

Those are exactly the same two concerts a lady from my small town in the northwest corner of the US attended. It took a lot of effort for a senior lady to make those trips alone, but she is such a devoted Dear that she was not going to be denied! She has told me that his voice is even more resounding in person than on video, and she doesn't regret one bit the challenges it took for her to get to those concerts. My mother was always finding wierd things on the net and sending me links. I usually watched the first minute (just so I could say I saw it) then deleted the video. She sent SOS/2017 The Singer. It was on a Friday, November 2018. Within seconds I was transfixed unable to look away. I still remember when young Dimash reached his famous "Avengers Assemble" move, I remember deep inside a little voice going " help" but obviously I survived the onslot of sound and power. I then spend all weekend rewatching this song, looking for more and watching Dimash reactors without sleep for days. When I went back to work on Monday, I could not stop talking about him and wanted to show everyone. Nobody was really that interested. I felt like I was working among aliens.😱👽😱
It took about 3 years before I could listen to other music because it all sounded off. I still listen to Dimash every day.

Dimash has been studying music full time since age 5, and he spent his youth winning many competitions which gained him notoriety in Kazakhstan. His real breakout came in 2017 when he was invited to compete as a wild card on the fifth season of the Chinese singing competition show, "Singer". He was the youngest to ever compete on the show and only the second non-Chinese competitor in its history. He was a literal unknown in China so when he was the first competitor to perform on the show that season and THIS is the song he did it blew people away. He literally became a superstar over night! The next day he went to go out and was met with a team of security; he didn't understand why he needed them until he got outside and people started running toward him!
Since then he has done SO much. He continues to deliver otherworldly performances time and again and he always surprises us. His 29th birthday was May 24th and on that day he dropped "Omir" in honor of his Dears and everyone who has supported him on his journey. Now we wait (impatiently) for "Weekend", his recent collaboration with DJ Burak Yeter, to officially drop! He does it all: classical, opera, rock, pop, Eurobeat, rap.... He's so multi-faceted. This was a fancam, I believe during a Kazak event in LA, 2017. There was an orchestra behind him, but they weren't accompanying him. When Dimash started singing, the musicians behind couldn't believe their ears! It was quite funny, but mostly shocking. After that, I couldn't get enough...This was in October 2021. A week after discovering Dimash, I had a ticket for his last Arnau concert in Prague, April 2022.
I had to see and hear him live.
The concert was surreal, more than 2:30 hours and 24 songs that flew so quickly that it seemed like a dream. Undoubtedly, the best concert of my life!
Dimash has a gorgeous voice that has mastered to sing straight to your soul.He is the best. And he just turned 29! On top, he's a wonderful human being.

Dimash was well known in his homeland. Competitions and events were a normal part of life.. Being invited on to the Singer show which he opened with SOS was how he gained worldwide attention.. In late 2017 I came across Dimash on CZcams. At his concert in 2018 SOS was dedicated to his friend Denis.. SOS was given even more emotion for the death of his young friend..
When Dimash started Autumn Strong, by vocalising, I stopped breathing & it was heavenly.. That performance changed my heart by filling it with Hope & Peace..
For me he just popped up through instagram reels of the last note of SOS and my jaw dropped down , checked immediately this song and been hooked ever since 🤣🤣🤣, that was 3 months ago and yes I am a (dear)

He is amazing live, just saw him in Malaysia on June 24, 2023. He sings this song so passionately. I need another Dimash concert, I know all the Dears feel that way. And we are willing to travel to do it. Lol. I'm from New York.
Every song, even if it is the same one, is differently done. Dimash will never cease to amaze and please his " Dears". Please do more of his performances. You will never regret it. The magical journey he will take you on is a bond that will never be broken. SOS is the song that introduced Dimash to the world and opened many great opportunities and collaborations for him. There are a number of versions of Dimash singing this song, each different but all great. This particular version comes from the Dimash Digital Show put on during the pandemic after all live concerts were cancelled and he had to cut his Arnau Tour short. The song SOS comes from the famous 1978 Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania', which is well known in French-speaking countries, and is a pretty difficult song to sing. In 2017 Dimash received a wild card for the competition “The Singer” in China. He was the youngest participant ever at 22 years old and the first non-Chinese. Only professional, award-winning singers take part in this competition. Although well-known and respected in his homeland Kazakhstan, few in China knew or heard about Dimash before, but with his first song, SOS, Dimash shocked the audience and captured the hearts of over 600 million of viewers overnight, and the rest is history as the saying goes.

I started watching reactions because of Ren. I'm a metalhead obsessed with Ren but as a musician whose dad is an amazing vocalist, this guy. Saw Black Pegasus react to him the other day and am just blown away. Don't get me wrong. Ren is at the top of my list as far as versatility and vibes for every mood but Dimash has to be the best singer that I've ever heard.
