    I love the way you presented, you have used almost all the kitchen helpers you have mentioned while making one dish.
    And the best is that you also have mentioned the wrong choices you have made, that is how we evolve, but sharing this is a big thing.
    I loved it.

    Since you asked i am giving you my review on the stone mortar and pestle. I have bought one from Hampi. It's one of the best buys. Due to the friction as it is made of stone the grinding is absolutely perfect and extremely flavourful. MUST HAVE😀

    • @TalkingMom

      Done then. A “must have” should definitely be there in my kitchen. It’s gonna be my next buy. Thank you for sharing your experience Nabanita ❤️😊

    What a brilliant video concept. Loved that while telling your stories you made the quinoa burger. Also it is very gratifying that you called cooking an art. I have started cooking exclusively since the last two years and sometimes it feels like a chore. With the perspective you gave it really brightened up my view of cooking. I too spent money on different prep bowls and finally like you find that the smaller ones are the most handy and practical.

    Jamie Oliver has been my favourite for a long time. I used to love the fact that he just went to his garden, plucked veggies and cooked them. The salt tip is on point, I keep salt separately in a glass jar. I want to invest in cast iron cookware; after seeing your collection am soon going to order them.

    • @TalkingMom
      @TalkingMom  Před 2 lety +4

      2 things you won’t believe if I will say.
      1- I knew anybody but Gauri will mention Jamie. (I knew it and I don’t know how)
      2- I felt so happy to know that I have started knowing my virtual friends choices a bit 🤩🤩.
      Take your time in selecting the cookware. I took 6 months to understand what I need and gifted these to myself this Diwali 😊.
      Stay connected ❤️❤️.

    Pure iron Kadhai is a great alternative for nonstick kadhai. Food doesn’t stick n some good iron content. Same with Iron roti Tawa with handle.

    Can we cook tomato in cast iron kadhai?

    • @TalkingMom
      @TalkingMom  Před 2 lety +1

      Cast iron needs to be very well seasoned to be able to cook citrus items. You can cook tomato gravy but I will say use it regularly for a good 3-4 months until the cookware is well seasoned and start acting like non-stick. Also, transfer the food to another vessel as soon as the gravy is cooked. Hope this was helpful :)

    cast iron for 1200 😂😂😂😂, ur videos are for rich class of people

    • @TalkingMom
      @TalkingMom  Před 2 lety +3

      This video never asked anybody to buy what I am showing rather it is to give the idea on some kitchen essentials.
      Having cast iron cookware I feel is essential but Opting among Expensive or cheap option is entirely a person’s choice. I looked for cheap options aswell which I never liked so I will never promote that. And lastly I feel we all have freedom to make our own selections in life irrespective of any class. 😊
