    Haha Lewis was like Mum WHAT? You guys did a great job! That's a sadistic exercise! But so good! That body position insight at the end was almost magical! :)

    Whew! Crazy is right! But, really makes you think and always be aware of your body position to help your horse complete the course properly. You made it look easy!

    Just seeing how changing your upper body position and sitting up straight to get over those poles correctly. I am going to think about that for a long time....grids from hell but looked super engaging! I am going to check out Amanda 2's site. Thanks for sharing this!

    Yayyyyyy!!! I was just thinking today that I’ve missed hearing from you, and lo and behold, an amazing new video! This looks so hard but so fun! Thank you for sharing all of these great exercises. I love how they all focus in on those little details that take your riding up to the next level. Hope you and the gang are staying safe. Best wishes from California!

      Amelia Kusar do you guys do much of these type of exercises over there? I have good friends who run a hunter jumper barn, & that’s something we don’t have over here!

    • @ameliakusar9136
      @ameliakusar9136 Před 3 lety

      Amanda Ross Eventing Fit ~ No H/J barns, whaaaaa?!?! It was actually a challenge to find an eventing trainer when I started riding again a year ago, seems like the majority of places here are hunter/jumper/equitation. That’s wild! IMHO, why would you do H/J/EQ when you can do cross country?!?! Silliness, I say!! 🤣 I did do H/J/EQ growing up, though, and I can’t remember ever doing an exercise like this. But my trainer now has had me do all of these things, just not all together in that crazy agility course that Amanda #2 set up! I’m sending my trainer this video and telling her we all have to do it! 🦄👻💪🏼🏆

    I’m commenting at 4:42 thinking Christ my life I’m ready to see this in action!
    I definitely do not have enough poles for this exercise and the figure 8 on the triangle sounds hard. I’ll see how you go! May give it a try 🤣

      @amandarosseventingfit6803  Před 3 lety +1

      JEDS Equine it’s amazing how just using small parts of the entire set up is almost more helpful, because I got to concentrate on getting just one part right at a time🤣! You will get heaps from it with just a few poles!

  • @meibo2831
    @meibo2831 Před 3 lety +1

    I love watching you doing work like this, its funny and informative at the same time. How long are this poles? I figure its important for the triangle to have the right lengths.

  • @TKDDLJ09
    @TKDDLJ09 Před 3 lety

    For the triangles are you using the standard 3 m poles or 3.5 m outdoor poles? And can you use the 3.5? Because i guess that would be easier, as a starting point and then work down to the 3m poles?

    Hey! Do you have any tips for getting my first horse? I’m 13 and me and my friend really want to buy one together in the next few years. We both ride every weekend at our local riding school :)
