Long time ago in London car show i saw a Mini in the Royal version .
It was made for the Queen .
Was that the one without the doors ?
@@hasitgotwheels no it had doors . It was just very ritch in finish .
As a former owner, for 4 years of a 1966, new Mini 850, it was an absurdly bad built car!!! !!! I had to bend the doorframes in, with my knee in between, to make them reach the body rubber seals, and even from the corners of the front screen (!!!) water came in. It soon started peeling off paint around the outside hinges (from the basic cleaning of the body before painting it)!! And it should have been given a gear-changer below the wheel for better function, than the ones on the floor! Mine was the first, long version from the front and with no synkromesh for the first gear! (In the Danish Technical Museum they both have the first imported Mini from 1959, the first imported VW and the second last production Volvo Amazon, just driven down from from the Factory in Gothenborg in Sweden, as a gift to Denmark, as we were a large marked for those!
