Ok, not saying I dont like your video but I would like to know what happened to Simon. Where is Simon?
Agreed. Where's Simon?
He left.
@@Johnboy3641Source?
I'm not sure why they wouldn't have released a statement, unless it was something tragic or out of bad blood
@@dosears1229 There was a video about it, I didn't save it but google will likely answer your question. His boss admitted he wasn't being treated right and he left for other projects. He's still on youtube doing other series.
“Our more aero dynamic host, Simon”
😂😂😂😂😂 nice
I've been coming across your videos in the mix, and I can say that it's been refreshing! I love the little asides and comments, especially during the video about the British Museum! More power to you!
I live down the street from Vito Genovese’s former home, or the land his home used to be on before burning down mysteriously after Vito fled the US to Italy. It’s now a township park, showcasing the beautiful gardens that have been kept up by our town. It’s called Deep Cut gardens here in Middletown, NJ.
Love your style karl! Keep on beign awesome man!🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Thanks so much!!

A video on the life of Edson Arantes do Nascimento a.k.a. "Pele" would be appreciated! Thank you!
Do a boon Jackie Dinorscio
“If tomorrow I go wrong, I would want to be hit so not to bring harm to this thing of ours”
Vito Genovese
Ohhhhh yes I’ve been waiting for y’all to cover Vito Genovese!
Joe Valachi didn't actually kill the hitman, he was paranoid and killed the wrong guy, he thought it was the hitman.
I cut the kid a break. He sounds like he British or some frigin this so he don't know.
A video on the life of Edson Arantes do Nascimento a.k.a. "Pele" would be appreciated! Thank you!
Love the video too by the way keep up the good content !!!
Previous host? Does that mean that Simon will not be doing biographics anymore?
This is so wild. I didn't know that Genovezes were Mafia people. I had a teacher named Genovese, in high school. He was actually a really nice guy.
Not everyone with the same name is related
Nice one Carol
I like Karl but I miss Simon
He was a very good man ❤ (he didn't die don't worry, just miss em)
It was actually Genovese who endorsed Gambino to be the boss not the other way around at that time Carlo was just a captain and Vito once was the acting underboss for his crime family which was the most powerful one
Thanks.
Thank you you are doing a real good job with your new hosting duties but I can't help but laugh out loud every time you referred to the more aerodynamic mr. Whistler
I know we are used to Simon, and some people might find it hard to understand Karl, but I believe he (Karl) is doing the best he can. I hope you continue to host the channel Karl, and keep doing your best. Thank you for your hard work and sharing with us the result. You got this!
Not really. This guy just reads from a screen in monotone. Simon could of done better picking someone else. Like the people who now do visual politik, they actually do a good job replacing Simon. This guy does not.
@@panthar1 People don't just start off as pros. Look up Simon's early videos. Even he improved over time.
i guess i must have missed a few videos but what happened why isnt simon hosting anymore?
@@QuietFury9 scheduling conflicts. He got casted for an unspecified role in the next barman movie
@@AndorranStairway I know, I seen this with every youtuber. Again, too monotone, hard to understand, and very obviously reading from a script. If he's going to keep doing this, he should really do more retakes at very least.
Good writing survives a change of presenters.
This was very good.
I like that you don't try to be Simon, you do it your own way. It's equally great content and delivery 👍
Suggestion: Ferdinand the Saint of castile and leon one of the reconquista greatest figueres
Like most people, I do miss old Simon, but Karl has grown on me. A very good choice to take up the mantle. 👍
We laughed and kept saying "see you soon", but inside we both knew we'd never see each other again.
Lieutenant (Lu-ten-nat) you’re saying it correct :) thank you for your work on this channel, Karl.
Boardwalk empire is one of the greatest shows of all time now we need one for al Capone
Does 'Analyse This' sound familiar?
Nice job Karl
Is there information why Simon isn’t hosting this anymore?
Yes there was a video where the channel owner (who also owns geographics) admitted she wasn’t doing things right, and wanted a fresh start. The video is called “it’s all my fault” I believe, it may have been posted on top tenz
Yep, a like for the shirt.
Frank Costello is worth a video in his own right. If you can get a copy, his biography "Uncle Frank" by Leonard Katz is a damn good read.
Karl, your presentation is OK by me.....but then again i once did live in Yorkshire, so I CAN understand what you're saying 😂
Yes. Costello is worth a video of his own. That’s why they made a video about him.
Who is Leonard
I'm pretty sure they did a video on him
Please do one on Paul Bryant

a little peak for this channel now, going from the personality and vibe of Simon to Karl, im off to the other channels with Simon i hope Karl does well but Simon grabbed my attention and a lot of us will agree that Biographics is gonna take a heavy blow
Wheres Simon at? Tell us or its on mate
Did not see Karl showing up as the biographics host, but I always like hearing him talk, so happy surprise.
Put the wrong pic of Arnold Rothstein😂
Nice arm sleeve bro
I'm happy Simon finally managed to grow hair. He looks different
The very things that hold you down are going to lift you up.

Will Simon be coming back?
Where's Fact boy??
Where is Simon? 🤔
Can we all just agree that Lucky L. had the greatest hair of all the mobsters.
I honestly thought someone was calling me.
Is Simon coming back? When?
No he ain't
What if, the hit on Costello was just a warning? Could be why the Chin missed him, practically.
#60 Frito Boca Raton, Fl 👍🏻💪🏻
Where is SIMON??
Americans say "loo-tenet". The only time I ever hear "left-tenet" is in some British shows. Love ya, Karl!
A video on Don Carlo Gambino would be aces! A really interesting story but not many know about him because he went to great lengths to make it that way.
It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.
What have you done with Simon?
Is there a ransom involved?
I've always thought Vito genovese should had been the one they wacked the guy was a pain in the ass the only thing he thought about was his own ego and he tried to have frank Costello killed who was an excellent mob boss and he succeeded in killing albert anastasia who proofed him self to be an excellent boss and fully committed to that life and on top of all that Vito was also responsible for calling that national meeting of all the bosses and bringing more heat on them
Agree with you on everything except Anastasia being a good Boss.. not saying he wasn't.. he was utterly feared & serious!
But he had the same kind of reckless bloodlust that Genovese had.. & it reared it's head in only the 2nd year of his reign in 1952, when he broke Costra Nostra rules & killed Arnold Shruster(spelling).. who was a complete & total civilian that had ZERO to do with anything criminal whatsoever! He had him killed because Arnold spotted & turned in a wanted bank robber, Willie Sutton to the Authorities.. Arnold was celebrated on TV as a hero & being interviewed by the Press & Media following it all! & Anastasia was watching it all on TV.. when he got got super pissed off because Arnold "snitched" & was "..a Squeeler.."... 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ So he had his men track him down & kill him! 🤦🏽♂️ That honestly was the beginning of the end for Anastasia.. even though it would be another 5 years before he was killed.. that incident set his downfall into motion!
So dude was just too Bloodlustfull & reckless himself unfortunately.. Smh. Had he not been that & was able to keep his recklessness & Bloodthirst in check.. i believe he would have a good & successful Boss!
Um where’s the other dude? I only subbed because I saw some of his videos
Where is Simon??
Smallwood
Yeah where is Simon?
US uses lieutenant (loo-ten-ant), but you use whichever you prefer. We can deal with it. Well, most of us can.

When did karl start working here
I don't think the expensive cars were registered to "known criminals" but instead were registered to New York City/Brooklyn addresses. The cops put two and two together.
Besides, a local upstate cowboy cop snuck onto the property and reported back, "Italians, lots of Italians." (Not a real quote, but likely a truth.)
They raided the meeting illegally (unconsiutional seizure) and had to let the gangsters go. But not before photographing, finger printing, and identifying the entire gangster world.
The worst part for the gangsters was that the compulsive gambler J. Edgar Hoover could no longer pretend there was no such thing as 'organized crime' in America. (For the gambler Hoover, he lost his connection to the gangster loan-sharks who would bail him out when he had a bad streak.)
The FBI was coming hard. First on the list was the IBC in boxing, and Frankie Carbo and Blinky Palermo were on their way to federal prison.
Karl! Omg, yes
You got many facts wrong there. Just to jump to one of the later ones the guy that Valachi killed in prison actually was not a hitman. He was just a fellow prisoner who approached him. Valachi just assumed the guy was going to kill him because he thought that Genovese had given him the kiss of death. Even though that was a mistake also.
Sorry, I miss Simon.... Cant get used to this guy! Simon makes it all soo much more interesting!!
It’s so strange… I love Fact Friend but I miss Simon so much in this show.
Karl is great but Simon had this show designed so well for his style. And I want that style back so badly… sorry.
Is he related to Kitty Genovese?
Great video but a bit hard to understand the new guy when he gets talking a bit fast.
WHERES SIMON
No more Simon?
Hardly the most deadly but definitely up there, I can name 4-5 more ruthless and cunning bosses but his family ain’t called the Ivy League mob family for nothing but a lot of that was down to gigante Costello and benny Lombardo not Genevese himself. He was too powerful hungry and overall didn’t make a great boss
Edit- great video Karl but Meyer and lansky are one person and at one point you referred to him and 2 separate people as Meyer and lansky. Gambino wasn’t a willing participant as you described, it was Joe biondo Steve Armone and grammuta who planned the Anastasia hit and gambino was voted acting boss by the capos even though he was initially reluctant. Then obviously became the official boss and was arguably the most successful boss in the country along with Ricca, Accardo and Trafficante imo
N. Ceausescu when?
Simon is the boss of all bosses
Please drop this guy !
Gen-o-vay-zee, not Gen-o-veeze and Loo-chee-ah-no, not an 's' sound.
We need one on Joe the boss
