At 12.30: The windmills are in Zaandam, north of Amsterdam. In the 17th and 18th century there were more than a thousand of them. With Amsterdam, this is where the modern world as we know it today started, two hundred years before the industrial revolution in the UK!
9:15 This is the yearly "ADEV" street rave, a demonstration coming from the squatting movement, against long-term vacancy of real estate (struggling a bit with finding the right English words here). Attended a few times, was great fun :)

Had no clue that was a demonstration! The first time I went to Amsterdam back in 2018, I was staying with friends who were "anti-squatters" (forgot the exact term), i.e. people who basically stayed in empty apartments for a short time for really cheap and could also be asked by the landlord to leave at very short notice. Right before I arrived, they were staying at a refurbished prison so I had to help them move some stuff from the prison haha. And the first time I tried kapsalon was actually in Antwerp and my friends told me the story of how it started in Rotterdam haha
The ADEV is a demonstration for keeping the dance scene affordable and authentic. It is against the extreme commercialisation of the dance scene.

hahah it sure is! Yes and no. Both are laid back ( one gets surfers and the other gets divers). But Koh Tao absolutely has wilder parties than anywhere in the Philippines
