That was a nice match. Pure wrestling, no drama queen or cheating involved. They both looked like they enjoyed the match, and yup, down to the wire it went. A rare performance.
Don't compare Gross to Nolf. Nolf had great attacks. He took so many chances that he found himself in some sticky situations, although they were few and far between. Gross is not great on his feet. He's a great scrambler and a hammer on top. Gross was lucky that he won a title during a down year in the 133lb bracket.
Wow what a match, these guys are so phenomenal, I'm 60, I am 40 yrs beyond wrestling, at this stage in my life it's less about picking a favorite and more about just huge respect both these athletes like. These guys are so fast and slick I can't even keep up watching them on video !
Rivera has a lot of the trouble with pass-by. The pre-seeds just came out, and he's scheduled to wrestle Nick Lee in the semis, and if he gets by him, then Eierman in the final. But I think he'll have a lot of trouble with Nick Lee.
I made a CZcams report on this video and another one with Gross and Desanto. I believe they are trying to post a current date to fool the public into thinking these matches just happened. They know exactly what they are doing.
