@@d993s according to who? It has a few minor issues like any rig but it has one of the lowest maintenance cost out of any Suv recently made. It goes through windshields due to the angle, and the rear visibility might suck with my 33" spare mounted on the back, but the 4.0 1gr-fe is one of the best Toyota engines ever made! The A750F auto was used in the Million mile Tundras and the Land cruiser 100 series... it's the only car or truck I've owned where I've hauled wood, slept in, gone dune running, drove through 3 feet of moving flood water and still has the beans to pull an F550 50 feet sideways out of deep mud (granted with a big running start several initial tugs and kinetic rope) she's a guzzler but she's a damn sturdy piece of equipment and anyone I've known has loved theirs to pieces. @@OpaqueNihilist sturdy??? The FJ Cruiser? 😂 it’s all relative to what you compare it to. Contrast exists, and the FJ is no Land Cruiser from back in the day. It’s a weak attempt at prior quality and it fails miserably compared to older models. Your examples are really reaching for greatness but you’re dreaming with those claims.
If you’re satisfied with it, good for you, as most here are grocery getters with an occasional light camping trip.
