- These 3 white Bengal tiger cubs made their public debut at a zoo in Austria on Thursday. The male tiger cubs were born last month. Sound up: it sounds like one of the tigers wants to show off his vocals!

@@Redpandagirl203 It's both of true and untrue. White tigers exists in the wild, but are very rare, as both parents need to be white tigers. So that part is untrue. But in captivity because both parents can be selected as white, they are pulling open a smaller gene pool to continue to create white tigers, and this results in other health issues that are associated with inbreeding. So while being leucistic (white) isn't the cause of health issue, the inbreeding of captive animals can be.

This “majestic animal” isn’t creating by god the last white cub was alive in the 1950s those animals live in a very serious painful life.

Crazy nerd warning: actually there not a real species, the white tiger or bleached tiger is a pigmentation variant of the Bengal tiger, which is reported in the wild from time to time in the Indian states of Madhya Pradesh, Assam, West Bengal, Bihar and Odisha in the Sunderbans region and especially in the former State of Rewa, but they are not wild nor another species, they just have an illness!! Not being there because they don't exist in the wild and are the product of 1 genetic tiger mutation. These cubs were the product of a brother and sister. I think the mother in this particular video has been bred to her dad before.
Besides, if we turned them loose in Bengal you'd poach them.
