I think that fact is compounded because of a group of people, not normally present during feeding time. I would also fathom a guess that it was called to eat a little bit before normal and/or was made to wait longer than usual

This zoo definitely looks illegal and most of the information about the Tigon as well as the Liger said on the tour was incorrect. Everything from the feeding process to the environment is definitely taking a toll on these animals

@@kom8285 Yeah, you're both right. A Liger is not a naturally occurring creature, and it would indeed die if released to the wild.
But I don't think captivity negates the instinct of any animal, born in a zoo or not, to do the things they were designed to do... whether or not they even realize it. The "Liger" shares the instincts of a tiger and a lion.... this is not a domesticated animal like your poodle, even if it is a product of forced breeding.

Just because you're miserable and stressed, like everyone else in the world right now, doesn't mean it's ok to cause misery and stress to other living creatures, people included. And you're the one complaining YOU'RE miserable and stressed so I think that makes you the snowflake, most other people are just getting on with it. I've worked 50 hour weeks since the virus started to help others while most people stayed at home. I've never once complained about about lack of PPE, being exposed to the virus, working at an exhaustive pace without breaks, I never will but I could tell you what misery and stress really is. You need to think before you speak. I'm sure you're not as rude in real life when you're not hiding behind a screen.

It isn't the distance of the two continents that prevents them to interbreed, it is purely the fact that the two do not mix in the wild although contrary to what this video suggests, they do have the opportunity to mix in the wild yet don't do it proof that mixing them in captivity is forced and contrary to nature.

You are 100% correct, JamesT! Humans are notoriously stupid around wild animals! You CANNOT anthropomorphize wild animals into co-mingling with humans without intense danger! They have wild instincts and like lion and tiger tamers at circuses, you can strike fear into an animal with whips and noises but they WILL attack you given a chance! Leave animals ALONE out in the wild where they belong! Wild animals have INGRAINED INSTINCTS that they use and need to survive in the wild. They will NEVER be tamed by humans because they can revert back those instincts any time they need to. Wild animals are innately ready to defend their food, young, territory and mating privileges and only dumb, uninformed humans will mess with those wild animals and get themselves into trouble! It has happened a lot and will happen far more in the future as we encroach on wildlife territory and make their living space scarce!

As a kid I loved zoos. Class field trips, outings, socializing w/ teachers and classmates. Saying hello to other school kids. It was fun. Great childhood experience. As u grow older u recognize things that should be questioned. Everything in the world should be free. We no longer need zoos. With technology we can bring graphic animation zoos to our schools. These kids of today will be our future change. The change starts with us and passing it on.

Gigantism is uncomfortable, painful and deadly. Just because scientists can do it doesn't mean they should.

Personally, I do not like what I see here. This is not a proper sanctuary for any of these animals. They are living in the equivalent of a prison. Just look at the emotional state of the liger, pacing and slowly going crazy which make him very dangerous. And the wolf, pent up, could and should be more socialized, also creates a dangerous animal. I've seen MUCH better animal habitat(enclosures). Just my opinion.

@Sidrah Bilal Well obviously you do not possess the proper know how for this. This facility is a rescue facility. The animals are taken in from inproper owners across the US. Also this is a ti-liger they have no natural habitat to be released into. Without this facility the animal would have just been shot. Now i'm going to assume that you are not an expert in ti-liger's as literally next to no one is because they are a beyond rare hybrid. But do you even know basic tiger behavior? Tigers are solitary predators they hate others of their kind and would defend their food just as aggressively in the wild.

So Tiger World was once a mans private big cat collection which got over taken by government/animal control/conservationists when he got reported for neglect and had his exotic animal license revoked. This is why it is so underdeveloped and located in a residential area. They run it as a “zoo” to be able to feed and provide for the left behind animals. Many staff are volunteer based.
