- This was a Craigslist find, an old Keystone MicroMini built on a Toyota cab/chassis. It was one of those "ran when parked" scenarios; towed it home on a trailer, finding a roll of duct tape and ratchet straps handy to keep the side paneling from blowing off during transit!
I tore it down to the original cab/chassis platform, painted the frame, built new subfloor, gave it a steel skeleton and finished out the RV part of it with new materials from 2018-2020. 39k original miles!
This was my first RV build, and now I hope to do more. Let me know what you think.
Also, open to feedback on how to make videos more watchable, besides using a camera that doesn't make annoying sounds every time it tries to focus.
What a great build, beautiful workmanship with a nice layout. Thanks for the video.
Awesome motorhome ! Great job on the remodel.
Great job man
This is a dope and simple set up. You’re a Boss dude
I need one of you. I bought 89 Toyota dolphin it was rebuilt in 2006 inside and the engine. I’m still learning about it. I wouldn’t bothered it would’ve been gone. Want some small changes.
WELL DONE
Beautiful
I like this rv
Sounds like someone's DOGS NEED walking
Ha, well said. My new neighbors have a less energetic dog, so hopefully future videos won't be so ruff around the edges.
Dogs barking relentlessly!
Tell me about it! All through the night too; stinks when you have babies trying to sleep! They've since moved, and now we have super quiet neighbors 😁
Hilux.. 22r
The price?
Did you have to replace the transmission?
No, those manual transmissions pretty much last forever if you treat them right. I did replace the clutch, but that's a wearable item.
How much was it sold for ?
Went for something like $11k.
Now I'm about to start a 78 Sunrader but it'll end up closer to $18k.
Is it automatic???
4-spd manual. It makes for a super fun RV driving experience!
@@BrianBarnettTX Put the AC back on it!
