I agree with you saying that max wasn’t pushing. After the first couple of laps max picked a certain laptime and just kept doing it. Meaning that for an entire stint he did identical laptimes. Which is scary

As a Max fan, I'm not worried he won't win the wdc or that Red Bull won't win the wcc... I'm worried they won't win every single race 😆I know realistically last year was an anomaly... But for now, I'm still dreaming of the perfect season for them!
Honestly as a neutral, it would be amazing to see once in my life. Even just to see one team win every race in a season for the first time ever!

I think you might underestimate Checo a bit, even though Max is extremely dominant, I reckon Checo could win a race or two as well.
I just feel like he's fallen behind again. He looked good at the start of last year but then for 18 races in a row he may as well have been in a Ferrari
The true question is: Can Max lead every lap this season?

I agree, Ferrari do feel a lot closer. I genuinely think Leclerc would have probably got P2 at the weekend without the brake issues (unfortunately despite the improvements there's still a strong element of Ferrari being Ferrari)
Ferrari will always be Ferrari which makes it difficult for them to ever really be #1, but if they can just cause problems for Red Bull I'll be happy

Are you confident enough about your prediction based on the races so far? Personally at first I think obviously team with get closer to Redbull, but honestly I'm not sure anyone can get a win if Max doesn't DNF or having some other car problem. Maybe we need to make Max run with only 3 wheels or with his battery not properly charging to make him drive only as fast as the other drivers.

There's not many (single season) records left to break. Only re-break!
As for records he doesn't hold:
Most poles and fastest laps in a season
Various 'consecutive' records (i.e. poles, front row starts, fastest laps, podiums, laps led), but most likely most consecutive points finishes (he needs 5 more as of the Saudi GP to equal Hamilton's 48)
Most Grand Slams (has 5, record is 8 by Clark)
Having said that, he's now (post Jeddah) on a 9 race win streak. Could well make it 10 in Australia, equaling his own record.

Well, after 8 rounds... Max has won only 5 of them. Two went to Ferrari, one to McLaren.
I'd say as it stands now, WDC for Max is still very likely, constructor's for RBR very unlikely.

I really hope Verstappen wins every single race personally. It would be soo cool. That said; If he were to lose even a single race then I hope he will lose more to make the world championship more of a championship and less of a circuit

Red Bull is not Max Verstappen. If you want to know where the Red Bull car stands, you better look at Perez. And also for some cars starting from the front is a huge advantage. Fighting a few laps with a competitor can do enough damage to your tires, to completely change your race.
Being P1 is always a massive advantage so tyre management yeah.
I don't know what you mean about Verstsppen and Perez though. Max isn't a magician, he can only drive as fast as the car can go. He's the one showing the full potential of the car and he's the one that other people have to beat if they want to win
Because Verstappen wins a lot, he has a lot of confidence. He also has to take less risk. (also watch the Alex Albon interview last year on his time with Red Bull) So what I mean is when things stop going as Verstappen likes, he could fall back further than you would expect. To about the level of Perez. Just saying that the 20 second head start in my opinion is more fragile than people think. Sorry my English is not that good. Love your clips.
@@aabeen1 Max started driving 9 years ago, at the great old age of 17, and did well enough in his first season and a half to go to RedBull. But of course, he'll lose all his confidence if he doesn't win all 24 races this year, hilarious.
