Rebuilding a rolled over Chevrolet Silverado the cheap way

  • It is time to start a new build. It is hard to find rust-free trucks near me so I drove to Arkansas to find one. I found the worst color combo available so it might look a little different when it is done. Let's see if we can get it running and get started on fixing it. Oh yeah, I want to fix it for less than $1000 in parts. I hope Scott's GM truck emporium will sponsor me!

This is amazing! This was my truck. I was the only owner, bought it brand new in 2002 and drove it until my 17 year old son rolled it! Are you gonna sell it? Or keep it?

His skills paired with the vast knowledge and dry humor he adds to the channel makes his videos the golden content that I've come to know and love over the past few years... You literally roll the dice when pulling trim, it's 50/50. I can't wait to see where you attach the roof and rear cab panel, me I would do the complete rear cab panel and cut the front pillars for an adjustment on the windshield

I only live in Illinois because family is around here, otherwise I'd be in a snowless location. Have bought many cars from Arkansas and the south because "no rust". Rust sucks big time and why pay for it if you can drive a few miles south and not have to deal with it. Most of the cars I've bought in AR have had razorback decals on the rear window. Go Hogs! Always look forward to your rebuilding videos!

Enjoy your videos--great job! Had to laugh; back in the mid 70's started my first job, traveling all over the state of AR to rural communities. First thing I noticed was that everybody drove short bed pickups (this was before the days of crewcabs) instead of our long bed pickups we were accustomed to on the farm in MO. And a bunch of then in Eastern AR, in the rice area, were 4WD. Maybe it's the same today.
