Thank you for posting on Boxing Day ….and such a beautifully Aussie subject… inspiration for a lazy day project
My pleasure! (Nearly Happy NEW Year)
Thanks again Marion you always seem to “show up “ on my feed just when I need your inspiration
Love that thought/idea. Thanks heaps Cecilee xx
Thank you Marion. Gum leaves are my favourite subject. I love that your videos are in real time and this one with layering is wonderful. 😊
Wonderful! Thanks for letting me know Kathryn
Love the way you paint gum leaves ❤thank you so much 😁😁😁
My pleasure 😊
Great conversation starter… I have been “pottering” about with painting since 2019… with an Acrylic stint in 22/23. I have returned to Water Colour which definitely has my heart. Hence I am back with you 👌🤗🌸 I can’t imagine ever thinking that I would be ever able to say I have mastered this medium😢 but at least I can have fun trying
Watercolour has my heart too! I thinks it helps your painting skills to move around media - I wonder if it makes you more playful, more creative?
@@MarionChapmanArtist that’s an interesting point…I hadn’t thought about it that way. I haven’t had much experience with either as I am a newbie to art in general… I was a maths and science student during high school and never really tried anything arty except sewing all my adult life … now retired and loving dabbling.
I love it. It's probably to late, but i'm really curious of the finished painting, specially the line work you wanted to do. 🍃
Thank you, I haven’t changed them, I ended up liking them as they are.
I am going to take up your challenge… I have fee Easter so am going to paint💃🏻
Excellent to hear, Celilee. It's Easter Monday now - hope it's going well
@@MarionChapmanArtist First 2 layers done attempting next layer this after I wanted to send you a picture but can’t seem to do it here
@@cecileegeorgeson_artist true, CZcams comments don't have that facility. You could send it via Instagram? I've also been considering a video where I critique artworks. Would this be something you'd consider?
@@MarionChapmanArtist yes for sure….what are you thinking of?
I am definitely going to give this a go…. Please share where you go with this as one of my goals for next year is to practice layering in watercolor…..perfect timing thanks Marion
Hey Cecilee, thanks for asking and I'll enjoy updating you and it.
The Amazonite genuine looks different than what I can find. The one I find is more green than blue. Do you have a link by any chance? Thank you in advance.
I bought it ages ago and can't remember where i bought it from but I think there is only one version, not sure
@@MarionChapmanArtist thank you anyway. Appreciate your reply. Happy painting!
