Long time no see! Thanks 😊
@@JumboPixel I'm always lurking
As a casual player this was quite helpful in helping me understand a few things I couldnt figure out myself. Good vid mate!
So, that one city at the end that is at +2 amenities now, with 6 more pop will be -1 at that point. So it looks like one also has to keep amenities in the equation when boosting population.
Yes you’re exactly right. Every two additional pop require one additional amenity (so six pop would require three more amenities).
Something to constantly be working on as you grow!
I like these guide videos. It's so important to have a good housing and amenity game.
Been playing civ casually for years and I didn't even know about that policy card MOD, great tip.
Thank you so much for this video! I just bought civ 6 and yours is the only video that explains this so clearly!
I was having issues with this i think I understand now
This helped a lot I'm currently trying to salvage my first game I'm in catch up on almost every metric
You have a gift, that was amazingly simple and understandable...I have turned to your videos alot, thanks again
As a moron Im really glad you spent 2 minutes discussing what the colors mean when you've selected a settler
Tips are great!
Could you make one on how to make sure your cities have a high production ( in the case you are NOT attempting a science victory)
Whenever i go for faith or culture i struggle with production
Cheers!
This was very helpful as a Civ 6 noob. Thank you!
Thank you so much! I was so lost with housing before!
Thanks for explaining to the newbie here
My Cities usually have excess Housing and Amenities but ZERO FOOD, do you have a video on Food
tenq bro you saved my civilization
😊
Great video- very helpful- thank you!
Great video! Thank you so much
Hope it helped! 🙂
One of the best features of playing gitarja is fresh water is totally irrelevant as long as you have enough water resources to work and built around. It basically makes housing irrelevant, and amenities becomes the real bottleneck for pop.
Ironic that I came to CZcams hear a fellow Kiwi explain housing shortages
Hope you’re having a good lockdown
oh man...! Haha yup not too bad. Same to you!
Thanks for the tips.
I wondered, how do you get your policy cards to show you a preview of their effects - e.g. number of gold, science points, etc.?
That is a mod my friend I'm not sure which one it is though, maybe you can ask reddit on r/civ
Have fun playing :)
I think it's just called better policy cards
Great solutiions, thank you!
Great video dude
Now do a video on how to fix the housing market! 😄
One thing i dont understand. In my cities and also yours in this video, we see 5 housing from water if the city is built on fresh water, and 3 if it is built on the coast, but on settler lens it says 3 and 1 respectively. Where is the other 2 housing (from water) coming from?
Settling the city gives by default 2 housing.
So this is why the A.I just spams farms everywhere? I just thought it was overcompensating.
Great video! Love the Civ 6 content (:
Thanks man!
Is there a reason you seemed to pump up the aqueduct more than the neighborhood?
The Neighbourhood by itself is more simple: build neighbourhood - get housing (from appeal #).
thank you subscribed!
thank youuuuu
Comment just cause, the algorithm
You know what really grinds my gears? When I conquer a city that has no source of water and no possibility to build an aqueduct. Like, wtf ai. Why you like this?
Not much of a problem with higher techs and policies. I have a 20+ housing city in a game that doesn't have access to aqueducts or dams
Wow a fifteen minute civ 6 tutorial
Are you wow-ing because it's too short, or too long?
The actual tutorial in game is over 300 turns
@@JumboPixel It's just rare to find a civ 56 tutorial this short normally they 30 mins + min
How do to my farms into suburbs ?
Great!!
Do the farm improvements have to be worked in order to provide the housing? Or do they add the housing regardless?
They don't need to be worked. Just their placement in the city area is enough for receiving the housing bonus. And be frank, farms are the easiest and most reliable source of housing by the mid game, as they can be replaced/removed when you have some better options available (like neighborhood).
One for the Algorithm
0:30
They keeping asking For housing even when I finish all of it, and the money will get lower, also they will revolt if you have no money
Thx☆☆☆♡♡
Thanks for the tips
